It's never t late to watch a Christmas movie..and i just watched this movie starred by Jim Carrey and a few of the very big names in Hollywood. It was based on Charles Dicken's book- I haven't read this one but this movie made me want to. It made me laugh, cry, and feel really nice when Scrooge changed into a better man. I loved the animation and the effects and excessive laughter, even. It was a good movie for Xmas and for all ages.. It's also a good movie for those who have forgotten the true meaning of Xmas..

Really there was a muppets version of this. I have always loved the muppets since they are so cute and funny. The new version was a bit scary and sadder. Where did you see this version?

A good movie, the message of the movie is well covered in the scene, sometimes it's boring, but ultimately the movie achieves its goal of making us think about our actions. Scrooge was a stingy man, cold, insensitive, cruel, which it acquired defects in their lives because of his past sufferings. A movie that shows us that we can become even better in the latter part of life.

Fortunately, I never found the movie boring and was really glued to it from beginning to end- maybe the animation had something to do with it. I hope more people like Scrooge change for the better too.

Yes, I definitely love the movie too- is the movie as good as the book, or which one is better? I love the morals in it too, although the 3D had some really scary moments, it still touched my heart. Thank you for you response.

Why is that so? Christmas is supposed to be a time of merry-making and remembering Jesus' birth and spending time with your family... Christmas song even add to the happy feeling.

I love Christmas movies and feel that it is never too late to watch them. A Christmas Carol is such an uplifting movie, and novel and I can never get tired of it. It really makes me remember that everybody has a chance to become a better person, even if they are at the end of their lives. It's so inspiring!

I love Christmas movies too , yes one f the morals the movie/novel has is that it is never too late to change. But people should never wait until they are dying though...

I read the book when I was little and found it very scary. Then I have reread it many times and have seen several movies based on the story though I have not seen the Jim Carrey one. I would not say the book is anything to laugh about though as it centers in greed and pain. Even though at the end Scrooge changes, it still shows us the dark side of life. But as a book, and for grownups, it´s a wonderful book.

Even the movie was a bit scary at some parts, because of the ghost and the reaper-looking one too. I'd like to read the book too when I have the chance, Jim Carrey's version was the first one I saw and I loved it.
