The end for the speculations,There was some speculation that Fabregas willleave to England to join Barcelon. Now the Arsenel mid fileder Fabregas has affirmed that he will play for Arsenel itself.
He also stated his Gratitude towards Arsenel and manager Arsene Wenger for giving him the first chance in football.
He also said that:"I'm showing I'm committed to this club and we want to do great things,I want to continue working to improve and help us win trophies. We are still fighting in all four competitions.
We want to win everything and go the furthest possible in all competitions. My future is the last thing on my mind."

I understand Febregas. He has been in Arsenal since he was 17 or something. Arsene Wenger gave him the chance on the pitch, and Fabregas showed his talent. Now he is one of the best football players in the world.
Arsenal has also just won again Barcelona, so why switch to them.

Actually Cesc waqs with Arsenal since he was 16. He have become the youngest players to make first team appearance at the age of 16 years 177 days against Rottenham in the league cup 3rd round tie. He was there during the invincible era.
I still remeber he said this once when therer was not much hype about Barcelona and no such thing as Barca DNA exist. He join Arsenal because he feels that Arsenal will develope him better. When he was at Barca, he only train with the youth team. but when he join Arsenal he straight away train with the first team. And he learn a lot from Vieira. He also said that he will not be as good as he was then if he not joining Arsenal.
That really say a lot. Arsenal develope him to be a world class player and I hope he will stay at Arsenal until he is 33 or more.

I think this is a on-off saga that lightens up every transfer season. I am pretty sure that despite this statement from Fabregas, his transfer to Barcelona would again be speculated in the next season. I actually think that next season Arsene Wenger might be more open to let Fabregas go as Wilshere seems to have developed very well and with others starting to fill into their position, Fabregas is no longer irreplacable in the team. I am pretty sure that Fabregas will one day move to Barcelona. When that move happens is what is going to be interesting to watch out for.
Cheers!

This is a nice statement, as he knows that he must finish this season at Arsenal. But I am convinced that he will eventually get back to Barcelona, because he is a true Catalan, a real Barca kid and that cannot be changed so easily. I am sure that he loves Arsenal as well and he has a great respect for Wenger, but the love for his national symbol, Barcelona has to be greater.

Let the transfer window come and we will again have rumors about his possible move away from Emirates. These things will continue, but the main thing is he has not let his performances get affected.
Wenger is staunch and will hold on to his most prized asset. Also at present Barca midfield is packed with Xavi and Iniesta and Cesc will have to adjust his position to play in starting 11.
If Arsenal manage to win few trophies this season, that will make him stay for another stint.

I wouldn't believe everything a player may state loyalty in today's game is very hard to come across he may be committed at the time being but being out of a transfer window also helps Fabregas, when making such a statement when the summer transfer window closes then we will see how committed he in fact is. So many players before Fabregas have stated commitment to a club but then the transfer window opens then things completely change and players move on.
