Lately I have been waking up around the same time everyday. No matter how much sleep I got. Yesterday I got only 5 hours of sleep and I am up around 10am. Yesterday I got mo sleep then that but I found myself waking up around 10am or 10:15am. Before I use to wake up around 11-11:30am I guess that was because I was sick and now I am much Better. That has been going on for almost 2 weeks of waking up around the same time with little or to much sleep.

Hello there. I wish i could wake up everyday at the same time but I can't. That is the reason why I'm always late for school. On weekends my timetable becomes crazier. I woke up at 4pm today. I don't know what I'm going to do to improve my sleeping pattern :(

Hey that girl
Nice user name haha that must be bad just not being able to stick with one schedule routine lol. When waking up lol. Wow 4 pm is late very let you must be one of those people that just like to stay up late and wake up in the middle or near the end of the day haha that's hard for me haha I would recommend you to stay up for one day completely even though it's bad but just up for one day and pick a time to go to sleep like at 7pm than you will wake up early in the morning go run and eat a big breakfast and tired your body every day have relax moments to and go get on the computer like you are now.. That might help

haha no actually i'm not. The thing is i get very less sleep during weekdays because of school so maybe that is what happens during weekends lol. Anyway it's good to hear that you are punctual. I wish I were the same. And waking up for the whole day drives me insane.. I have tried that couple of times already =D
Thanks for the advices. Have a good day.

I have a built in alarm clock as it does not matter what time I go to bed and I am up at 5:30 am every day. Even when I have to be somewhere early I will set my alarm and I am one to be up at 5:30 ish. a few minutes before and or a few minutes after.
I have tried numerous times to get up a bit later but my brain and body do not synchronize.
I do hope you can get back to a routine as I know that if I force myself even for 20 more minutes I get really bad headaches.

Hey Hardworkinggurl,
I think the whole body alarm is great and awesome thing I think its pretty cool. I wish I can wake up early like you but I dont know what I would do if I am up even that early haha. I do try tp put myself back to sleep sometimes when I wake up but when I cant I cant and I know when I cant sometimes so I dont even bother to try to put myself to sleep haha.
My body alarm clock is sort of broken it goes off and on sometimes when it wants to haha. but lately it has been going off at a good time which is 10am is good for me haha. I like getting my 8 hours of sleep haha

Wow payout 8 hours is really good. Keep that up as it will certainly lead to a healthy life. Some people like me who barely sleep get easily stressed and agitated. So far my health is really good, but it may catch up.

Haha im trying to live to 110 remember haha haha.. yeah I want to be. My best health but doing so requires sleep and stress is bad as well. Stressing out can lead to bad health and so many things. It's crazy how our emotions play a big effect on our everyday health I wish you the best in your nap times hah

Well, I work the Swing shift which is 4 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and then get home around 1 a.m. or so. I usually find myself getting up by 11 or earlier depending on my mood, but the average time is 11 no matter what time I find myself getting to sleep. I think overall your body gets used to waking up at a certain time and unless you are sick you just get up ready for your day.

Hey krausehome,
Yeah I honestly think that it's amazing that we have self body alarms it does come in handy sometimes other times it just gets annoying but I like mines. But if I have to wake up to go to a event and have to be early or something to attend Anything my body is so use to waking up at the same time. Because of that our bodies feel tired and excausted in the end. Which is a big down side.

I guess your body clock is on the dot these days. .. I had that period in my life where I wake up the same time every single day (with only a few minutes difference) no matter what time I go to bed. It was annoying really, but thankfully I grew out of it.. Now I wake up almost the same time everyday, and I'm thankful for it because I need to wake up early to go to work. Hehehe. Thank goodness for body clocks! (though I wish I know how to turn it off during the weekends! LOL! )

Hey ingkingderders,
Hahahahaha I don't know how to turn off my body alarm clock as well haha. Today I woke up around the same time I guess my body alarm clock is working perfectly fine. I don't mind waking up early around the same time weekends or weekdays. I am very thankful without our body alarm I wouldn't know what time I wake up haha. Yeah I don't mind I know when i get old my alarm might break haha

Hey aw5363,
Oh, I am the other way around I can little to too much sleep all depends when I decide to put my head on my pillow then usually I just wake up at the same time everyday 10 or 10:15 and today I work up at 10:13 I. Just laugh and said wow I just wake up at the same time everyday now. I thought it would of been a good discussion on MYLOT :)
I guess you working shifts and waking up at different times that is understanding and makes sense I just don't know how the people that work at nights only I don't know how they can handle that for me I can't because just thinking about is crazy. I know eventually my body would start acting funny on me. Plus it can make you age a lot faster

I guess that won't be good because you might forget e Tim your suppose to go in unless you go in at normal times all the time and never changes.

Lookit83,
Yeah I Learn that our body is our alarm clock haha which makes it cool today my alarm clock was a little off haha. I woke up about an hour later then I usually do and I felt weird i guess because I fell sleep really late and I was really tired last night. Right now I rather wake up around 9-10 maybe even 8 I would be happy haha

Some of your wake up cues are related to how much light is in the environment. I tend to sleep to a later hour when it is cold and not very bright. Then when the sun starts rising earlier, I start waking earlier. Yes, that is regardless of when I go to bed.

Hey gardengerty,
Yeah maybe it has something to do with the weather and time of the year and the earth moment lol. In the summer te the sun is out most of the time andi notice around where I live on the northeast of the united states the sun has been staying out longer then usual and it has been a nice thing but probably that's why I'm starting to wake up earlier then usuall strange but true it can be the weather and the sun that our body wakes up at a time. God is so smart haha

I didn't know our body had alarm clock but hey I guess that's the name of it it happens to me now and then but eventually my body clock will just turn off or go on a break because it needs to be recharge or something haha. But yeah I am thankful I have that. I think it's so cool that we can do that haha

I guess your body is set up like an alarm clock that can wake you up at the same time everyday so you can do stuff. I am that kind of person too. Sometimes when I am staying up later than I should I still wake up at the same time. Some people are just like human alarm clocks. There are times when I have to wake up earlier than I should so I have to set my own alarm clock to remind me to wake up.

Hey nijolechu,
Yup my body alarm clock is on track I set it i don't know how I did it but i did haha. I think it's unique how our bodies do that and just have a self alarm and wake up at the same time so awesome lol.. The only time I use a alarm like my cell phone is when i have to go to a interview or wake up extremely early for work or something haha

It can't be more nomal for a man to wake up at the same time everyday .I have been this situation for almost ten years .No matter how late i go to sleep ,i will wake up at around 8 o'clock in the morning .In fact ,according to the rule of Chinese medicine ,it is very conducive to live that way .We should keep that habit .

Hey captinjack,
Wow I am amazed that your self alarm has been going for ten years that is extremely rare lol .I think that it's rare for peole to keep there self alarm working that long haha. I think it's health but getting less then 6.5 hours it's not good. Keep your alarm that way I think that's good but try to get sleep it can be risky to your health. :) mines goes off and on I wish it van stay on for as long as yours but your lucky. Haah

I have to wake up the same time each day because I have to prep breakfast for my daughters and it's been going for quite some years now.My eyes will automatically open at 430 am even when I dozed off late. i usually sleep at 12mn giving myself 4 hours of sleep. I was wondering why my body seems to be fully adjusted to a 4 hour sleep even when I sleep late. Though I know that this will pose danger to my health, I cant help but to wake up the same time each day even on week ends.

haha I dont think that is a problem I honestly think its a good thing some people cant do what your body does some even wish that haha. If you feel normal and well rest then thats even better haha. Well yeah I think once our minds racing or something then we just cant go back to sleep. Being drunk.. I dont drink so I never experience that haha

in order for you to wake up earlier, if thats what you want you should set up an alarm. in that way you will be able to wake up at the time you want.

Hey foinix,
Yeah I think our body is use to the waking up around at time it's like we set with a alarm clock and our self alarm eventually counts the seconds and just wakes up by its self with right timing. Mines I didn't use a alarm it did it by itself im thankful I can do that some people can't and just wake up at random times and can be late to something. :) very happy am I .

Hey smileonstar,
Yeah I was told it our nervous system and i think is because we train our bodies to wake up around these time. Some people go to work at 6-7 in the morning and on the weekend they usually just wake up around the same time as well. Some people are different and just sleep away haha. I think training our bodies to wake up when it's time to and needed is a good thing to me because it will allow you to function at your bodies best.

I find it a pretty interesting myself. I'm pretty much the same as you, used to waking up around 11-11:30am. I was sleeping late like 4 or 5 am during those times. I don't know when but I started to go to bed earlier and my waking time is now usually at 8:30-9:30am. The annoying thing is if I am doing something at night and stay up real late, I would end up still waking up at 8:30-9:30. I thought if I slept late, I would wake up late too but I was wrong. I guess it's the body clock/circadian rhythm at work.

Hey enslinoorter,
I guess the best alarm in e world is our body sometimes if we train it or use to doing something for awhile then our body will get use to it and then we just start doing it like it was a normal well is a normal thing. I think in the end it's funny I read that in time as we get older we will sleep less. There's are different stages of sleep that we as people go through we there'd is lighter stage, deeper stage but as we get older the stages get less deep and then we age more haha

I dont have any choice but to wake up on the same time because I still need to go to work. So waking up on that time is my appropriate time to manage do all things to be done in order not to be late in work. But during weekends I am waking up late because I dont have any work to do.

Hey ada8may21,
Oh I think most people are like that we have to wake up to get things done and work and stuff, I'm guessing you always need analarm unless your body knows its a weekend and just stays asleep longer then normal on weekends. Me I think I will wake up at this same time all the time lol. Work or no work haha. I will always wake up around this time haha. Unless i have alarm then I won't wake up lol. So yeah it's like my body stays at the same waking up time lol.
