Good luck with my dream...
I start off running along a sun drenched tropical beach, with blue cloudless skies, palm trees and crystal, blue, clear seas, laughing and full of fun. But somehow I end up free falling through space and darkness, only to wake up in a prison cell, fighting for survival and not to be sexually abused by other inmates (all of whom are strangers). As blood starts seeping through my clothes I normally wake up bathed in sweat and suffering from shortage of breath.
Well there we go. As I said, good luck, Dug.

Thanks Dug,
I guess I need to take time out for myself and as you say meditate and tune into the inner me. I guess it is time for me to move forward and ace new beginings but as yet maybe, I am not ready to accept the new horizon.
So, I'll have to start the meditating and concentrate ion the inner me as that is where all things start.
Once again thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Sometimes it takes an outsider to point out the obvious.

Do you feel the need to bring order to your world/family relationships/your life??
I believe the celebration could mean that you finally want to pat yourself on the back for something ... either you want to do... or already did.
DO NOT LOOK FOR YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO DO THIS FOR YOU!!!
Hotel = How do you feel about your homelife?? Does if feel transiant like a hotel?
What thing/item/event/person gives you the most emotion or focus in the dream??
Based on your writing ... it world seem like the TIME was important.
Now... many initial thought was "not the time to marry"
but, I don't want to go so far as to invade such a precious thing.
I believe the buffet respresents you wanting to "open thing up" or "share more" of things/someone, etc.
But... something may be out of order - and it seems like you are giving a pass to someone or some people who may not deserve a pass.
SUMMARY: Feel free to speak your mind.

It is my pleasure!!
Seeing your answer is a validation in and of itself - and your dreams are merely giving you a mental picture of your emotional / psychological landscape; it's not good or bad (per se).
If you feel like you're lacking... then decide when, what and how things need to change. Talk, talk, talk to your loved ones... one of those hard talks where you just want the person to listen but not respond. It inlcludes letting them know that this is NOT NOT NOT the time to be critical, judgemental, or harsh in any way b/c you will DEFINITELY need time (maybe even months) to determine what comes next.
A job closer to home?? A relocation closer to the job?? A virtual celebratory party one/twice a month to welcome you home?? Or Romantic getaways to keep things spicy... babysitter, and a great hotel away from home that's common to you and your spouse?? Make life what you guys want it to be!!! Don't feel you have to conform... you have to create!!! create!!! create!!! dream out loud and on purpose

I'm not sure I believe in dream interpretation. Whenever I hear dream interpretations they always sound a whole lot like horoscopes, which rely on generalization and vagueness. I think horoscopes are complete hogwash, so dream interpretations doesn't sound legit to me. I don't really think I believe that dreams have meaning, at least not symbolic or subconscious meaning. But if you can prove me wrong, I'm open to admitting that I'm wrong.
I'm curious though, where did you learn dream interpretation and do you take a spiritual or psychological interest in dreams?
So here's my dream I'd like you to take a whack at interpreting. I'm not going to make it easy... I'm sorry.
So this dream begins with myself and my family in a dingy hotel room. The floor was just made of dirt and there were puddles springing up all over the place with frogs and tadpoles living in them. At first I thought the frogs were cute but as the dream went on I was a little grossed out by them. Then I hear a noise and I turn to the door, and I see huge shadows of spiders. I get a little scared at this point. I run out and get in my car. I drive to my school and there are giant spiders everywhere. They're causing all sorts of crazy mayhem. One gets really close to me and I go into the school to hide. When the building is surrounded by spiders, I find a platform in my school. I get on it, and my school turns into a giant robot like a transformer. I control the giant robot by moving (I move and it moves the same way), and I stomp on all the giant spiders. I kill a whole bunch of them and I feel super awesome, but eventually there are just too many and I abandon the giant robot and go back to find my family. There's also a guy (a real guy that I actually know), and two little children (that are not actually real children I know) that join our group.
The dream flashes forward a few months and the world has been taken over by the giant spiders. The humans that they haven't killed are their slaves, and that's where myself, my family, and the three new members of our merry crew have ended up. We've got a plan of escape through. The airports are run by giant spiders now and we're pretty sure we can bluff our way through customs and get on a plane to a city near the wilderness. Then when we land, we plan on fleeing to the wild! So we're waiting in line at security (Security run by giant spiders... imagine one of those guys as a TSA officer. Yeah. Not cool.), and we overhear the giant spiders talking to each other. As it turns out, the spiders are very disgruntled that there is discrimination among the spider clans. (As it turns out, our oppressors are oppressive to their own species. Myself and my family find this very amusing.) So we use this new bit of info to bluff our way through security. My Dad sweet talks the lower-clan spider into believing that he's going to single-handedly overthrow the oppressive top-clan. The spiders are charmed and we get a first class ticket. So we all get into the plane, congratulating and high-fiving each other, and then I wake up.
Give that a go.

lol, thanks for giving it a go despite my unbelief. And yes, it was actually a real dream that I had. Not too long ago in fact. My dreams really can be this crazy and detailed. I already write my dreams down on a daily basis. I've kept a dream journal since I was twelve. I've never really believed in dreams having subconscious or symbolic meaning, but I've always been interested in dreams. They're intriguing, and one of the great mysteries of the human mind. Plus I think they're vastly entertaining.
Well I might agree that fate is not etched in stone, but I still don't think it's a good reason for dream interpretation and horoscopes to be generalized. I feel they are generalized to get more people to think that they are really speaking to them, when they're actually just making stuff up. They lump people together and use language almost everyone can relate to, and thus people are won over. But I'm not convinced that they're actually telling the future or telling anything about me personally. If you believe in that stuff... then don't let me get in your way! But personally, I'm not convinced.
As for your interpretation... Good try. I guess I can kind of see it, but it still feels like a bunch of generalized symbols to me. I mean, most people think of spiders negatively so it wouldn't be so far-fetched to some to accept that they could represent lies... a negative entity. Most dream symbols seem to follow that line of thought to me.

It was an awesome dream. I've got even better ones in my dream journals. I really love writing my dreams down, remembering them, and telling them again later. I get loads of ideas from dreams. That's one of the things I think they're really supposed to do... help you tap into your creativity.
Well thank you for sharing your perspective. I'm usually pretty interested in what dream interpreters have to say. I realize that since you and other dream interpreters don't know me personally, I should kind of expect things to be general but at the same time I've never really had someone say something that actually struck me or touched me. Same thing with horoscopes. I guess part of the reason I don't see the interpretations fitting is because I see dreams as a creative outlet, and not a window into the subconscious.
I hate spiders. lol They're nasty, creepy, crawly, unnerving, and frightening little monsters. I don't like bugs in general any better, so no! Never wanted to work with them at all. Spiders representing lies didn't seem too far-fetched to me, I just don't think it really matches up with the spiders in my dreams. I mean, they were giant intelligent spiders. Lies seemed too weak and general. Maybe super-powered malice and evil genius. Plus, even if the spiders did represent lies, what are the lies and what does it mean for me? General dream symbols seem to leave many unanswered questions. I figure that if dream interpretation is meant to make you learn about yourself then you should do at least a little bit of learning and not too much asking.

Well... that was an awesome dream!!
If you've been journaling since your youth - then, I'd say your on the right path.
I think you have it correct - it is what we make them.
The impact of an interpretation in more in the lines that I don't know you at all.
So, though they may seem general - there could be something that touches you.
It's just another perspective outside your own.
As for horoscopes - they have energies that ebb and flow like tides.
The 12 houses = an area
The planets = an action (generally)
The signs = characters who play a role
So, your specific time of birth is unique to you like your name.
But, if your name is: Brenda .... please know there's someone else in the world named: Brenda. Even names can have similarities... but, they change (all the above) given background criteria. For example: I grew up in church; but, as an adult I found astrology to be very intriguing (christians tend to shun the whole concept) - while the bible talks about God's prophectic gift thru (book of) Daniel - for example.
Symbolic or something other??
I dream about my deceased grandmother often... and her house.
When dreaming, I can literally go there sometimes like I'm going to check on her.
The house may even be dark like a frankenstein castle at halloween - but, I don't feel any fear or dread... it feel more like, "Grandma, did you pay the light bill?"
It's usually always positive when I dream of her or that house; usually!!
Our emotions kinda give way to a key - when we feel a certain way during the dreamstate... that our computer / subconscious brain = spitting back info via emotions and whatever else is available (sweat, tears, goosbumps, etc).
All of your dream makes me wonder what you really think of spiders in your waking life??? Have you ever wanted to work with bugs or some kind of archeoligical dig??

Wow cool!! Here goes my dream and I dream it all the time, I live in the U.S.A. and my husband is from Mexico that is not thee dream that is the truth but here goes the dream: I dream it is a sunny pretty day and me and him and his family are driving through the border and I always seem to wake up before we cross. And one more dream that really bothers me is that my husband is gone and I end up with his brother. Can you tell me what these dreams mean? And why I dream them all the time?

THANKS FOR SHARING...
The border dream is you rejoicing - but from the viewpoint of home.
You two were probably destined to be together and that border can be like an intense dejavu moment for you. And you experience it over and over and over again.
I see you looking to the sky in my mind - and it's like giving thanks.
That thanksgiving then produces the continuum of ecstatic feelings; it endorses you and lifts you; it makes you beautiful and young and full of appreciation.
The border can be a transcendental point where your spirit kicks in... ease!!
I think you're pulling something into existence!! most times, this action goes the other way b/c we don't take enough time to allow it to come forth or forward in us. But, in your case - your balanced nature is kinda like a fountain of youth.
And... many, many, many people would be wise to always treat you with kindness, love and appreciation; not spoil you or inflate your ego - but, really express a likeable nature so they can feel a lil bit of what you feel all the time.
If you and the brother cannot express yourself in a fond respectful manner - then it's okay to love from a distance. There may not be anything wrong - but, there's no offense in creating a great connection with him as well. He a bit stubborn.
Your husband is gone b/c he's not supposed to be in that specific picture... where you get to teach the brother kindness thru your kindness. small intentional, measured out, over a period of time and distance... or maybe even anonymously. Wouldn't be fun if you put $50 in his bank account anonymously - AND YOUR HUSBAND KNOWS ABOUT IT... AND HE'S GREAT AT KEEPING THE SECRET. Then, one day his brother breaks it all open to the family. "I keep getting these positive things that KEEP HAPPENING to me... I don't know why or where they come from." And, you both can sit back watch the change wash over him - like you both are watching fireworks on the fourth of july. Wow!!
Watch the brother change thru your own eyes of joy!!

Hello Dollar3235,
My immediate perception is that you may in some way be seeking to not be confined.
You may be desiring more room physically or more room emotionally/psychologically
This was before seeing the friend portion written down. I'll get to that shortly.
The glass seems like it was clear - which could indicate that you have the answer at hand - maybe you're fearful of exercising this action or decision.
What fear may you be avoiding??
What was the feeling you had during??
I believe the friend could be:
*The aim of the fear
*The person you're trying to break free from or need space from
*The friend may be privy to or have knowledge about the thought/issue/dream/idea
The friend kinda represents something to you
Bringing feeling of love, acceptance
An idealizesd symbol of soemething - like success
A need for connection or a witness; someone to prove something to

That's pretty straight forward as far as emotions go.
I would ask him directly... but, don't go breaking up the marriage when you hear the answer. He probably has not cheated??
I'd say you guys are missing each other.
There's some point of miscommunicatikon/missed time or something.
Speaking as a man: Men want women who have our back in a "no matter what" type a way. It is not a license to cheat... but a license to trust.
If your husband comes home to you every day... he loves you
If your husband is looking at you... he loves you
And so on and so forth
But men feel under-appreciated a lot. You must... I say MUST tell him how wonderful he is, so he feels like taking over the world just for you.
But... but... but... he's not going to do it just because you asked.
Your dream is telling you to go back... and do the work again of loving your man.

Glad I can help out...
As a personal favor to me: Consider your marriage to be the greatest gift, tool, soapbox, vehicle, state of existence you can imagine (together).
Oh... here's an example: President Barack and 1st lady Michelle = they are gorgeous together!!! you agree??
I think some of the most powerful women on the globe are the ones who can daily "Safely trust in her husband". I don't mean this in a blind, naive sense - but, GRANTING HIM (SPIRITUALLY) THE POWER THAT GOD DESIGNS FOR YOUR UNION TO HAVE.
I believe another of women's strengths is their FEMININITY.
BELIEVE ME: when a woman says your name ... just right... with all that sweetness and respect and love and honor = WE (MEN) CHANGE AND GROW!!
and I don't mean that sweet and somewhat demeaning (little girl) voice, but, the voice that SINGS WHEN YOU SPEAK... like an angel with a harp!! LOL
And remember this... the bible talks about how: "No man on planet earth likes a nagging / complaining woman; it says...
*It's like a continual dripping faucet
*We'd rather live on the corner of a rooftop than inside the house with such a gal.
Your dreams are the emotions of your subconscious mind = good in... good out!!
God bless you!! Have an awesome day!

Hi, just wanna try this one. :)
I am now married for more than a decade now and yet I'd always dream three of my exes every now and then, though not that very frequent. Of course, I'd dream of them one at a time. The very recent that I dreamed of them was last night, and the three of them were in one dream. With the two, I usually had this light atmosphere with them, we had friendly conversations and all. On the other hand, I always had reservations with the other guy. And in most of my dreams with this guy, I am emotionally attached to him. And his face is not that clear but I knew that it was him.
After last night's dream, I realized that my relationships with these guys had no closure that it gave me the courage to share this with you.
I hope you got my point. :)
thanks

Congrats!! You have just about answered your own dream!! yay.
Dreams are the emotions of the subconscious.
I just mentioned some pretty powerful words about relationships in two previous postings - that could apply to you as well. These guys are merely a presentation of something / an idea you hold in your mind.
Now... concerning your husband of 10yrs. Your goal is to learn his language (so-to-speak) and you may already know what that is. Here's what I mean:
Every guy wants someone who will not detroy them but support them.
Men are absolutely vulnerable tho' we've been told we should not share that side of ourselves b/c it looks weak.
Now... what if your husband NEEDED TO CRY - in order to save his own life; or let's save - to SAVE YOUR LIFE!! You'd be like... "HURRY UP AND CRY MAN!! HURRY UP!
lol... so, his emotions become a sort of tool to use; very different from how we as men are taught. Now... he if did (successfully) cry, would you then:
*mock him and make fun of him later and say how weak he is
-or-
*cheer him and love him even more for being such a strong person even in the face of danger to own all his emotions and use them to a positive resolve or solution that affected not just him but you and maybe another standing by!! see my point
-or-
ignore the fact that he had such a moment ... so as to produces hesitation the next time that or another situation presented itself.
You have to think (always) of your husband in this manner.
The more you love him... even to the point of exhaustive joy - he will never get rid of you and you will never get rid of him.
The guys in your dream are exiting!!
Their faces are blurring.
They may not ever go away for good... but they will not have an impact.
The scenes that you see in your dream will serve as a clue to how you feel.
SUMMARY: THESE DREAMS AND THESE GUYS ARE YOU WANTING TO FIGURE MEN OUT - BE THEY SPECIFIC MEN OR MEN IN GENERAL. BE MORE CREATIVE IN THE HERE AND NOW!!

hi there.
i had a dream about two weeks ago. i had a pet serpent at home. i think this isn't just a serpent. it's a huge snake, let's just consider it as an anaconda. i hate recalling this dream and i never even expected to dream as such 'cause i really hate snakes and i got phobia for them. this snake in my dream is uncaged and it just freely lurks around my house. what could that probably mean? could that mean that my partner is backstabbing me? or hiding something from me? i HOPE not. what bothers me most, is that the serpent was my PET!
@Duglaiglas (150)

20 Feb 11
Interesting...
The house is the most prominent thing here.
And the serpent could represent what you said; but, usually, it more so represents you vs. someone else. Something you need to see, look at, open up to, reveal, become, desire, etc.
I know snakes, serpents to represent wisdom. Anacondas (not sure) - but they squeeze the life out their prey. Maybe you desire to squeeze something / for some reason / in your life. The pet issue would kinda support the idea that it has more to do with you.
The snake being uncaged means that you have/will have access to whatever you're looking for; your subconscious is actually playing up your fear - giving it a familiar image. The mind doesn't know you're not happy (per se) - no more than your computer knows you're not happy. They are basically the same = information processors that spit back what we put in.
Design your environment to be a little or a lot more positive. Your brain will store the info and make finding solutions metaphorically easier.
SUMMARY: IT'S MORE LIKELY THAT YOU ARE HIDING SOMETHING FROM YOUR PARTNER.
*A CHILDHOOD FEAR
*AN UNEASY FEELING WHEN THEY DO ??? - BUT DON'T WANNA ROCK THE BOAT
*A REAL OR IMAGINED LOSS OF CONTROL

I saw a white horse on my green patch, grazing and swaying its tail.It was doing it neatly and the animal was a beauty. I admired the contrast of a green lawn and the white horse.Thought about a wedding festival, vaguely wherein grooms come riding horses, not in our community though.

The idea that comes to me is like you're peeping thru a very small window or peephole... and this is what you saw.
The color contrasts - Green = growth, newness, cultivating something that was not there before; and white = God, purity, expanse, clarity and clearing things out of the way to make room for....?
The horse's tail may have been acting like a paint brush... at first I thought a broom... but then it seemed more like a paint brush; but, it's movement was INTENTIONAL!!
Could it be that in your thoughts of life - you wish you were or wish to be more of an example???
*An example to other men
*An example in marriage relationships/happiness
*An example of high ideas that will one day be celebrated as normal if not royal.
The wedding could be a fututre graduation and/or a relationship that will start and change your life forever. You are destined for something/to do something

Good show... glad I can help.
It's fun to look at something and get one or two points of view. It never hurts to have that in your life!
Your dream seemed more symbolic to me... so, taking a symbol of something and creating a real-life, useful scenario or situation is honorable. People who know you well will applaud your efforts... even if you fell you don't succeed.
We need more people leading by example.
Maybe you desire to be a party planner - but, whatever it is... help others, feel appreciation, grow, and change the world around you.
Your opinion counts!!
