Stupid person of the day award goes to...Stacey Champion of Minnesota

Stacey Champion, a 29 year old women from Minnesota actually tried to mail a 5 month old puppy to her son in Georgia (the state in the U.S.A.). Postal workers, after hearing noise coming from a box and saw it moving, open the box to find a 5 month old Schnauzer-poodle mix puppy inside. Postal officials said the trip would have killed the puppy. The puppy was taken to a Minneapolis Animal Shelter. Nearly 50 people went to the shelter in hopes of adopting the puppy, Guess. Hopefully, Guess is in a loving home with intelligent people! From an article on page 6A in the Saturday, February 19 edition of The St. Petersburg (Florida) Times.

I heard about this one, and was thinking "What was this woman thinking?" Did she not have any sense, and did she not think about how would the Puppy survive? Personally I would have thought she could have sent the $$ to her son to buy a puppy instead so that she would not make a spectacle out of herself and get herself in trouble nationally. Personally it is a good thing someone heard the puppy and was able to rescue him.

The lady was really cruel to send the puppy through the post. I am so glad that postal workers heard the little puppy and rescued him. A schnauzer/poodle mix sounds delightful. I have got two miniature poodles. Yes, he is sure to get a loving home with decent people.

I'm disgusted with stupidity and careless acts that some people have towards other living creatures, she should be put in jail.
