I just saw this on television. Wow. Those doctors are committing fraud. It's not just saying someone is sick when they are not, or without examining them. That is enough to bring about discipline from the Board of Registration in Medicine - and it should.
However, since those notes are intended to cause a third party to pay out money (sick pay)and to allow the teachers to continue an illegal activity, whether that illegal activity is the strike or the collecting of sick pay under false pretences,
that makes these doctors guilty of racketeering.

Yeah, I had to come post this. It is so ridiculous. I really hope the school administrators saw this and throw those fake doctor's notes out.

Will these same doctor's write notes for students that want to miss school on test day? That is the example they and the teachers are setting for the children.
