Well, we are all getting ready for the snow that is to start tonight here in Minnesota. People are going to store's and getting ready for a day stuck in at home. We got gas for the snow blower and that was it. It has been all they way up to 50 last week. snow snow here we go. One more round I hope before spring. How is your weather? Are you expecting snow?

When I got up this morning...it was fine. Then the freezing rain and sleet started...then the snow started coming down in buckets! So I plan on spending the day stamping and card making. There was even thunder for a while! I almost ran to Walgreens to get double sided tape as I am getting low and use tons of it for cards...but when the ice started I decided to just stay put!

Here in Ohio we might get some freezing rain tonight and perhaps a few snowflakes but it's not expected to impact us much. I hope the snow is over for the season! But I'm told that sometimes it snows as late as April. It's been a long time since I lived here so I'm not sure what to expect.
I love the snow but enough is enough!

Oh yes we have had snow in April before but it wa still warm out we made snow men and had a blast. It doesn't last long in April so that is a plus. You will be fine as you like the snow. fresh snow is like a blanket coving all the old black snow from all the soot. So if you look at it and it is so pretty. But then you realize that you have to go to work. Oh no not in this. Have a great Sunday.

It started snowing this morning and it has stopped while ago. We live close to the Ocean so we don't get a lot normally in all the snow storms. This time we got 1 inch barely while other cities supposed to get 5 inches.

Where I live, we have just been hit with 10 inches, and there is a layer of ice underneath. Last night at work, it was pandemonium. People were buying everything off the shelves as if we were expecting 4 four feet and a deep freeze. Then I had to make some room outside for some pallets and shoveled 6 inches of snow, and people thought I was crazy because I had no coat on. The harder I work, the more heat I generate, so I was sweating, and the cold no longer bothers me. The other issue is that I am a bull so shoveling six inches does not make me tired (hungry on the other hand....)
Fast forward to this morning, and there were cars that ended up being stuck in the snow, but people were pushing those cars out. I saved my energy for a big one, an Ford F-250 that couldn't gained traction. I was killing time for the bus, and really wanted to help, while thinking it was impossible. It was a more muscle than brain moment. Two people did help me, but gave up. I tried once more and after some wiggling (was pushing it backwards so I am pushing from the front), and two splits down my gym pants, the truck finally moved. The guy was scared to shake my hand because I just pushed this huge truck, and worried I would break his hand. I don't mind the snow, especially if I am pushing a stuck car because I am working on growing bigger muscles, but at this rate, I will bulk up in no time. Just thought I should share my events of today.
