WC Update: NewZealand beat Kenya by 10 wickets,Excellent start for NZ in the WC.

In the second mtch of the 2011 WC Nz beat Kenya by 10 wickets and registered their first win in style. As expected the match was one sided. Kenyans were bowled out for just 69 runs. Bennet,Oram and Southee bowled well to make the victory very easy. While chasing it was just a formality for NZ,McCullam and Guptill made it very easy. SO NZ made a good start towards this WC.

I expected Kenya to put on some fight but their batsmen let them down. Hope they can recover from this. Good win for New Zealand since they struggled going in to the World cup having lost 3 ODI series successively. They will feel much better and look forward to continue this momentum against other teams.

Ya me too thought that Keya will show some fight ,but they collapsed. ANd its good for Kevies after a bad time in cricket

It was a good display by NZ but I kind of wish that Kenya had put up a better show. They were definitely let down by the batsman and their bowlers didn't stand much chance against McCullam and Guptill.

It definitely has been a great start by New Zealand. But Kenya were really disappointing in this match. To not even push the match into the second session was really pathetic performance from them. I think matches like these are the ones that raise the question on why ICC allows these associates to participate in such events. Cheers! Ram
