I grew up wearing uniforms so I don't take offense when an institution or a governing body asks its members or associates to wear a prescribed dress code. The good thing about dress code is that people are in the same page and they don;t try to isolate or judge you just because of what clothes you wore on that day. But I would agree on a general or suggestive dress code rather than a specific and uniform to the letter one. It kills the creativity and the expression of students and people in the school.

I think so- a uniform may not be compulsory, but a proper dress code is something that every school should have. Since it's a school, students shouldn't wear really sexy clothes and tattered clothes. Sleeveless, shorts way above the knee and leggings are not allowed in our school.

I don't think there should be a dress code at any school. In America, wearing whatever we want is called Freedom of Speech and Expression. But, there are dress codes at some schools so there won't be any bullying because of poverty or whatever.
