Throughout history and everywhere people have broken free from Suppressions such as dictators. This is happening right now , too. I have recently researched more onto the ongoing rebellions in Egypt, China, Iran, etc. After reading 1984 again ( a dystopian novel written by George Orwell, which tells the story of a man in a world population that is enslaved and being "thought-manipulated " by a surpressing government), I am asking myself whether people are always bound to be free, or even are bound to be succesful in being free( which has partially been proven in history).
And if so, is such a society described in 1984, in which the individual mind is enslaved and worthless possibly with all the technology being developed and the political courses being taken?
PS I am tired right now, so excuse me if my text is hard to read :p

They tell us were free but we really are not in my opinion. With all the rules pressed on us how we really be considered free. Don't get me wrong I feel like some law are reasonible. We are policed on a day to day basis'. Boss', government, authorities, etc. We are only free from the bars of a prison, unless you commit a crime and in some cases that doesn't even matter.
