Well actually I'm not learning any chinese but a friend of mine is. She says it's really tough.

Yes actually I want to learn chinese too. I love chinese dramas and movies and learning the language would help a lot :)

Chinese is a difficult language to learn,especially Mandarin.Even though I`m Chinese,but my mother language is Cantonese.I think Mandarin Chinese is a language as difficult as English for me.It takes me two years to learn how to pronunciat words exactly.Now I can speak Mandarin like a native speaker.

Oh, yeah, I can understand! I got some friends from Guangdong. They all told me the same. However, consider this way, being a Chinese too, I can understand none of Cantonese!
