I had always had this question in my head but didn't know who to ask. But now I'm asking the male users here in mylot and I hope you guys give me an honest answer.
I have always wondered how guys felt when girls moved the first step in a relationship. I mean do you guys like it when a girl confesses her love for you and proposes you?? How does it feel??

it's so strange, if a girl did that to me, I'll reject her :)

My partner made all the first moves on me alright.
I used to work in a bar and had just split up from my ex after a 2 year relationship, so I was not looking for a new love. Just thinking about enjoying my freedom for a while. Well, one night my partner walked into the bar and handed me a red rose saying, "This is for you!" Turned and walked out. I got a lot of ribbing from the customers but just said to them, "some of us just have it."
The next night, the samething appened, the door opened, in she walked and handed me another red rose. This continued for 6 consecutive days in total. On the 7th night, She came in with a dozen red roses and handed them to me. I persuaded her to stay and we chatted and have now been together for a year and a half.
How did I feel with these roses... flattered and it was just the boost I needed to forget the ex. Why did she do it... she said, "I was too good looking to always have sad eyes and she wanted to be my partner." Good enough reason for me.
Hope this helps you Thatgirl.

It worked well with me, but then I am all for equality and why shouldn't a girl tell us guys she is interested. Once, a relationship starts it is great to discuss things and share thoughts and feeling so why not from day one or before. And everyone likes surprises and presents!

Wow nice story there. It's good to hear you guys are doing good :D
So majority of guys here said they like it. Actually I'm that kind of girl that takes the first step if needed so i was just wondering if it would freak the guys out or not. Anyway thanks for the response. Have a good day :D

Hi thatgirl!
For me I will feel awkward at first of course. It has happened to me a few times before and I just don't know how to react at the situation that time.
But of course if I also like the girl then that means celebration.
Usually most men only wants a girl to show motives but for me it's a bonus if this happens.

Nope, one reason is because we will only end up heading the opposite direction so whether it is me or her who propose it doesn't make any sense.

That is like wow. I guess it would be flattering. It will be better if the girl who does this is also the one you admire. It would be like a pleasant gift because it saved you the effort of doing it otherwise.
In the end, I see nothing wrong with this since I believe that both genders have equal rights and that is followed still when it comes to the expression of ones emotion.

huh, you my wife's relative" she did that to me...and love moved on...hehehe...for first timer males, yes, it would be something strange, more if they are oldies mammals...but, we are all loved that's why we need to share such love, and gender ain't no excuse for juliet to say I love you to romeo, is it?
