That's a good question and if His birth follows G♥d appointed hour, it probably was around Sukkot, in September. And when you think about it this way, He did come in December, nine months earlier, and that is what I tell my son..;)

I could go into more detail, but I am not an expert and would have to go back to December in FB when people supply the links that tells about it. And if you know FB, just trying to go a couples days back is pretty bad, but months...

I have read a lot of things till i get so confuse because i don't even know what to believe. I know for sure that he did not born on Christmas day the 25 of December.I was reading a document that says only two places that the birth of Jesus was record in Canonical gospels.
Even the book of Luke of the story of Christ birth Luke 2:1-20
December is said to be a pagan tradition and custom that they follow.
Christ was most probably born on September 11, 3 B.C,Which was a Wednesday according to the bible.
Please read Luke 2:1

December 25th factually has its roots in pagan worship, and has nothing at all do to with the birth of Christ.
According to the clues in the Holy Bible, experts have determined Jesus was born sometime in late Spring or Early Summer.
No one knows when the actual day and time.

When I was in bible study they said it was more like sometime in October that he was born. They also said that their times and days of the month and years were different than what we have today so knowing the exact date and time may never really be known based on our calender and how our days weeks, months, and years are.

no one knows when exactly Christ was born. i've read about an article telling that they have just concluded it's in the middle of December because of the whether and climate during the time He was born. anyway, for me it really does not matter when, it's enough to celebrate it once annually and know the essence of the whole event. God bless you my friend!

No one knows when Christ was born, because their is no time are date to show. I too have read a lot of book s an stuff an yet still some are not sure them self either.
If we did know have a Hebrew calender we could calculate the date.
But i was celebrate it on December 25 from i was a child and now i have realize that he was not born on that date but yet we celebrate still.

You would think if it was such an important thing there would be an exact date. How hard would it be to write it down? If it really happened it would be so huge that the whole world would know it and there would be NO confusion or evena discusion like this.

To get the month... we have to know when did john the baptist born...
and John is born on June 24, count six months onward; and that is january so it is probable that Jesus is Born in January.
Besides birth date is not that important, what is more important is what you really believe.

Faith says He was born the time you accepted God's love...
Hope says He lives everyday in you protecting you from falling to eternal damnation...
and Love says, He wanted you to be with Him when He returns.
John 3:16
I'm excited for that time :) very.... :)

This is an interesting discussion about the time Jesus was born. He was not born during the winter season, since in the Bible it is stated that there were shepherds taking care of their flocks around the time Jesus was born. From the accounts of the gospel writers, we can see that many were misled into thinking that Dec. 25 was the exact date of Jesus' birth.
I believe that it is better to love and honor Jesus any day and everyday rather than to follow the pagan practices associated with the holiday celebration that has been so commercialized.

Yes it was the pagans who celebrate December the 25 as a holiday.and it was not a winter because it would be cold and no one would want take care of their flocks at night when it is cold...right?
Its best to give him praise every day of our life, only Jesus alone know the day he was born.

The exact birthday of Christ is unknown and it's not really relevant for our salvation. What important is we should acknowledge him as our God and savior.

Actually there is no way of knowing other than the events that are mentioned having happened at that time. The Shepherds were in the fields tending their flocks. I always was taught that it was too cold for them to be out at that time of the year. but having just done a search I learn that it doesn't get that cold in Israel. I found this web site to be very reasonable with what they have to say.
