We are having this problem in Malaysia,so says the Medical Association itself. Young doctors graduating from private and overseas medical schools have been found to be inept and cannot do the basic tasks like taking blood from patients, intravenous feed or even writing a medical report. In fact, he likened them to be worse than trainee nurses!
Do you have such problems in your country?

I think in America, numbers are hardly important. Quality counts in a transparent first world country. Market forces will drive out the inefficient. Not so in my country where the government practices an affirmative policy. We have to chew the grains and the husks as well here. The poor has little choice but to seek these substandard medical personnel for their ills.
For me, if it is for serious ailments, I will go to known experts and not gamble my life on these quacks!
