Do we need to put a disclaimer in our blog?

Hi there mylotters and my fellow bloggers.. I am very new to the blogger world. My question is, do I need to have a discalimer/ blog policy to my blog? I just want to avoid any worries for future problems... I just want my blog to be protected. Thank you! Hoping for all your kinds advices.
