I have not watched the last episode of American Idol and am wondering if the Fil-Am Thia Megia made it in the top 40. Well, while browsing some of her videos on youtube, I had found some good stuffs about her. Indeed, her voice is amazing because it has a jazzy sound. I heard her sang "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus on America's Got Talent. She did a great job in that song and she was so sweet. I also saw her sang on David Foster's concert making a front stint. This lady is doing a good job really.

I love her voice and she is pretty too. Plus she's still young so she can still improve. Yeah she even made it to top 24. :)

I am not also sure if she made it to top 40. We'll see later. But as the top 40 spoilers spill, I think she's not one of them.

if you want to give her a better chance of winning support her for her talent and not for her race. if we keep on shouting "proud to be filipino" and 'she is a Filipino" on every youtube video about her, It would alienate many Americans to vote for her. In a America you have to be relatable for people of all etnicity plus keeping sticking Filipino on her name will pressure her to represent us. Lets just support her for her talent not because she is Filipino. she is actually not the only Filipino finalist this season, that guy who bullied Jacee is Filipino so I think she is more wothee of support because of her humility. At this moment she have to be racially ambiguous so she will be relatable to all people whether they were white, black hispanic or Asian. I think the only only thing Filipino American community to support her is to vote for her instead of hyping her. Anyway she is a pure Filipino.

I didn't know there's a Fil-Am contestant in American Idol this season. So I have no idea if she got into the top 40. Will definitely be watching this week. Ill see if she's there. I hope she got in to the top 40. And hopefully she goes far. A lot of Filipinos are making it big elsewhere in the world. I have so much pride in them. I feel like a proud mom. Lol.

Hi there Kay! I didn't know it too not until it was in the news the next day she made it in the audition. Then I saw her on youtube. Well, at first I wasn't amazed at all. But when I saw and heard her sang "the Climb" and she was like I think 14 or 15 then. She's sweet and so naive with her rendition. Well, hopefully she's not one of those eliminated or got disqualified.
