Accepting Jesus Christ as personal Saviour and Lord

To those who have accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord, how did you initially feel and reacted when that happened to you? Were you joyful or in tears? Please share your experiences. Thanks!

When I met with Jesus First the tears rolled from my eyes because I sorry for my sins, that what brought tears, and secondly I was joyous because i was save from eternal condemnation. Hallelujah

It was more than thirty years ago and it was very joyful and with lots of tears and lots of (inner) healing. It meant everything to me, all of life, the pieces came together and I was healed of a very traumatic childhood and went on to be happily married and raise strong kids.. and that was a miracle. When I accepted Jesus, I was both in tears and joyful. It was the best day of my life, and the next one will be when he comes back for his church. Yhat will be a glorious day, and everyone needs to be ready. I know I am. Take care, and may God bless you in all things.
