selling paintings online

February 21, 2011 8:45am CST
I've had this idea in my head for some time, I paint pretty well with pen/pencil and in computer (Paint) and game Robot Rage which provides this option (I have some screens with my paints from that game with my paints on my profile). It's pretty complicated, but I thought...if it's possible to sell real paintings (painted on touchable materials) why couldn't online painting be sold? Also I don't know if this could interest huge amount of people. Please tell me what you think.

Well, I would think that there would be ways that you could turn some of this into extra $$. Maybe find people who are interested in purchasing art for their backgrounds for their computer or Web pages. I know people have done this with Gifs and Jpgs and such. You might want to find a way to copywrite the work first so no one can pass it on as theirs. All I know is do a Web search for exactly what you are wanting to do with your work and I am sure you will find something there.

Selling painings ? I would think there would be a huge market for paintings, in your own country as well as in countries around the world, depending on the types of paintings. Selling them online would be an excellent way to promote the painings, and have good business. You can have your own business website and place them on there !

Thanks for advice, I have had some experience on making websites, shouldn't be hard for me.
