Bebe: The worst Manchester United player ever?

Having watched the F.A. Cup tie between Mnchester United and the Mighty Crawley Town, I was amazed to see how poor Bebe was.
He played as a winger and yet doesn't seem to have a trick to beat a full back. To supporters who have witnessed the likes of Giggs, Ronaldo, Best,Violet,Sharpe, Kanchelsis and this season Nani go past defenders with ease, then this performance was unacceptable.
Time and time again he failed to beat his man, and when he did manage to cross the ball, it went out of play, into the keeper's arms or to a defender.
Towards the end of the game I was embarrassed for him, I cringed when the ball went to him.
For me that should be his last game for United, he is nowhere near good enough to lace Giggs boots never mind wear a united shirt.
There has been some poor players for United, but at 7 million pounds Bebe is the worst in my opinion

I think that Bebe was overvalued, but I would not say he is the worst signing ever. bare in mind when Ronaldo first joined the club he did not always know when to pass or shoot himself and he always used to try tricks too much. I think if Bebe is given a few seasons in training along side giggs than he can learn some skills that will help him. You also forget that even though he was playing on the wing maybe he is not actually a winger and that could be why he was lacking the pace.
I think the worst signing Man Utd did was Eric Djemba Djemba who they paid millions for and is now in the lower leagues.

I have forgotten about him. A year or so ago he was in a trial training session in Romania at Craiova and they sent him home. When I saw that United has given so much money on him, I thought what a mistake Craiova has made, considering that players like Zigic,Kolarov or Obi Mikel were also sent home from Romanian teams after training trials. But if it is true that he is so poor, then it was the best decision Craiova made in a long time and the worst Sir Alex did at United.

I too think that Bebe was over valued at 7 million but these days, most players are. Andy Carroll- 35 million, horrible.
As for Bebe, give him more playing time and get used to Premier league. He might not be as good as Giggs but he can be a good team player overall. Tricks are not necessary when you are capable of giving that vital assist.

Maybe it's the '7-million-price-tag' which made Bebe be put a burden too much.
I've heard/read that he has power in his shot. Hope it could be his superiority.
Hope he would not be the next Kleberson or Djemba-Djemba.
But he could be the next Nani or Anderson. Which bad at first, but could be reliable in the next future :)

I think at 7 million Bebe was definitely over valued. But, I think we can give Bebe a bit more time. Nani was not deemed good enough when Ronaldo was around. After his exit seems to have come into his own. So I would give him one more season, before writing him off as a bad investment.
Cheers!

Whilst I agree that Bebe hasn't shown all that much so far he has shown enough for me to believe he is a decent player. He is learning the language and once he is more comfortable with that and he has a run of games then he will start to prove his talent.
