Still My Friend?

What is a friend? In high school I had many. Now in our later years the friends you hold so dear are all strangers. Once everyone grew up, went our separate ways, keeping in touch becomes less, and less, soon it becomes non-existence. Sometimes, someplace, at some function, two old friends stumbled into each other. Instead of greeting each other like old friends who were inseparable. They greet each other like to acquaintance. Just curious...Are there any high school friends out there that that has taken separate ventures and lived separate lives, but when together again are still as good and close of a friends?

yes it applies to me/. me and my friends are like that we are good and jolly when we have an acqwuaintance.

Hi,my friend,
When we live far away from our friends,we would have a meet less and less.Finally even we would be strange.If u live far away from your friends.Communicate with them constantly...Hope they r still your friends!

I think I knew a lot of my friends from high school, I have moved to here for almost 3 years but we haven't lost contacts becaue of facebook. We talk every once in a while and we can look at each other's pictures.

I have got back in contact with my old Best friends from school... and found that I am the only one who hasn't got kids and waiting to be married to do so... Don't talk much but then they live far from me. They moved and so did I.
Just facebook friends from school... nothing more really. I do feel that Growing up is Growing apart... different thoughts, feelings and goals in life.. I wanted to wait till I found the one and was ready for the right steps... where as the others either found it just happened or rushed into it.
