Buy Ipad via official Apple website, is it realible?

Hi, everyone, i never buy things via website in different countries. Last sunday, i wanna buy an Ipad, it is really convenience i think. So i search the ebay and found it is more expensive than pirce in my country. Also the shipping cost become a problem. Finally I found offical Apple website in Unite Status, it is free shipping. But I'm confused it is realible? Is it security( i don't wanna my Ipad change to fake item)? I need to pay some extra cost online?

Apple is well known for its good customer support. If it's the official website then you can be assured that the product is authentic. But of course it comes with a price. This actually reminds me of a friend who bought an apple product on ebay. The product is still within its warranty but since it's already used, my friend was able to buy it at a lesser price, after a few weeks of using the product it's earphone jack got defective so my friend brought it to the nearest apple store, he handed the unit told the sales persons about the defect and showed the receipt provided by the original owner. After checking the product the store replace the unit with a brand new one without so many questions asked.Now that's what I call customer support.

Hello friend, i think there is no need to pay more cost online.i trsut the offical things.i think it will be good .In CHINA the offical stand for quality and security.But i dong't know if the situation in AMERICA is similar .Good luck for you
