Good day, mylotters! I am quite confused right now, on which brand of laptop should I buy for myself. My friends suggested three brands, which are apple, toshiba, and dell. Which do you think has a good quality of the three. I am not really familiar of their features. For sure, a lot of you here are very particular of it. From what I've heard, APPLE LAPTOP is the most expensive of all brands, but with great quality and has great features. It can easily detect viruses and immediately respond to it. DELL LAPTOP is the second expensive and also offers good quality and features. And, TOSHIBA LAPTOP is not that much expensive but with good quality as compared to other affordable laptops. I am really much concerned more about the quality and cost of the product. Maybe, you can help me choose on which one to buy.

you must consider hp as they make one of the best laptops. Check out hp pavilion dm4 and dv6 range.they are good laptops. toshiba and dell are also good. But apple macbook's are pricey.

From prior experience I can tell you that I would stay away from Toshiba. Do research and don't rush your purchase.

I tried few laptops before, first ASTON, then IBM-T42, lenovo Thinkpad T-60 then DELL latitude E5500 I do think that Thinkpad is great when it is still under IBM, but when it changed to lenovo, the quality isn't as good anymore. As for dell, it serve the basic function but i do miss some feature offered in IBM Thinkpad. Anyway, if you were considering budget and support, i do think Dell will serve your purpose. But sometimes, buying a laptop depends on the purpose and also the functionality of the laptop. My dell's hard disk was spoil twice since i use it... anyway, hard disk is not manufactured by dell anyway. All the best to you and hopefully you'll find the laptop you like soon!

I am currently using dell laptop,, Yes you are right that the most suggested brand of laptop was Apple. But since I can't afford apple and DELL was the second high quality i chosen it. I dont think if toshiba is good on quality or not.

Hi, If you can afford it go for the biggest Apple you can buy, Apple are great especially for graphics. Toshiba next, that's what I have, 5 years old and still going o.k. Dell are o.k. my son in law has one and is pleased with his. If you are going to be doing a lot of art work, photographs etc then definitely go for the Apple.
