It's good to be a Thomasian! The oldest school in the Philippines has recently celebrated its 400th year and even now that the celebrations have toned down, I still can't believe that I was once a student here, and now I am a fresh faculty of my alma mater, teaching literature and humanities! I remember the first time I entered this school, feeling all the hair of my arms stand as I saw the University then as I do now: majestic, regal, and full of spirit. I have had a many good years in this university and thank God that after all those years of wandering where I belong I realized I am back home, just in time for celebration. And I am so proud to be part of it. So, who among you have been to the Grand Alumni Homecoming?

Me and my wife went to UST to buy souvenirs. Though my wife is an alumni of UST, she wasn't able to attend the homecoming because of work. I was once a student of UST but I dropped out because I went to PMA for training. It is indeed fulfilling to see UST celebrate its 400 years even though I was just there for less than a year.
