How do I fix my laptop?

well it seems like hardware problem.. for that you need to call your vendor or hardware technician. alternate and cheaper solution is buy USB keyboard and attach it with laptop.. Generally I use my other keyboard only instead of using laptop keys..

Maybe is it only a problem with a contact ? Try to take off the space bar and clean the contacts. There are many models of space bars. Hi Celeste2224!!! Well what you should do depends upon what really the problem is. Are you able to normally press the space bar key. Or even if it can be pressed normally like other buttons and still its not working. If the later is the case then the problem may be serious and you will need to take it to the menders. If you are being unable to press the space bar button then you may carefully check what actually is happening by yourself. Just few days ago, my A key got damaged. It was working, but was uncomfortable to press they key because the upper part was coming out. Then I used paste carefully to stick it to the right position and then it worked...You may not take the risk if you are not sure what you are doing by trying to make it by yourself.. I will say you should first try yourself to make the spacebar work. Are you feeling something jamming or your spacebar seems like jammed, the take a blower and blow air under your spacebar to take out anything jamming it or take a brush(paintrush or something) and clean the underneath of the bar with the brush, this should make it work. My klaptop keys also sometimes dont work and i do these things to make it work. Hope it helps

I don't know everything about computers. If you were using a desktop I would say that it was your keyboard but you are using a laptop so I don't have any idea of what it would be.If I was you I would search for the question on the search bar. Hopefully you don't have to get a new laptop. Two years isn't very long for it to be messing up. Hopefully it ends up being something simple.
