What do you think make Valentines Day so special! When it is just like an ordinary day.. Even ordinary days you can send her flowers and gifts, date with her, make love, and all the things that you do during Valentines Day can also be done during ordinary days! lol.. It is just a one day affair.. Is the intensity of your love to each other is more intense during Valentines Day.. I am just wondering..

Well, I use to enjoy it with all preparations days before the day arrives.. but now the excitement has somehow tapered off.. but I agree with you that we should not show our love only during valentines but all the time!

You do not need chocolates or flower for a happy Valentines day. It should be with the person you love the most. Flower and chocolates are just material things that wouldn't last long anyways.

Yes I agree with you but sometimes your girlfriend might want something that she would show to her friends that she got some gifts on valentines day while others would want it as souvenirs...

Before the over-commercialisation of Valentine's day, it was a day when one could (and was expected to) send anonymous messages of love to people. In fact, the whole point of it was the anonymity: any person could declare their love for someone else by sending an unsigned card (or gift) and people were at great pains to make sure that it was difficult to identify who had sent it. All of that seems to have been lost and most people these days seem to think that it is obligatory to give something red or wrapped in red to one's special loved one (and ONLY to that one person). All the mystery and excitement seems to have gone out of it.

Hi sammy, Valentines Day does not make anything special to me. When I was in my 20s it meant nothing and now when I am plus forty it is not any festive day for me. If you are hinting at love for each other my say is there is no Sunday in love.

I use to appreciate valentine's when I was still single and had a girlfriend. It's nice to look forward to a date on love day but it sucks when you're single and alone and seeing those couples being sweet with each other.

There you are! All I thought that Valentines Day is all about love... That is a big problem when you don't have a partner.. then you start looking for a partner and this is where girls are put into disadvantage.. they force themselves into a relationship irrespective whether you like him or not.. what is important is you have a partner come valentine.. some girls even get to the point of being raped.. all in the name of love...
