I Felt the Love of God and I Held On

June 9 2006, I was 26, I got my bag stolen in Bangkok and for almost a month I've wandered the city's streets without food and money to supply my basic needs...I moved around without meeting a fellow... one dawn, i went to chao phraya river and thought of eternal rest... when, suddenly, I felt the presence of God...and there He taught me a lesson on never giving up ...through the weeds that float along the banks of the river. These plants struggled to live in the dirt, oil choked, and lifeless-looking river and yes, fish thrived in them, as seen thru kids who went fishing near them...They were loved...i prayed for forgiveness that day,and I asked for a renewed life...I soon met a christian friend who helped me seek God more...Untill, a friend helped me find the philipppine embassy where I was given some money to buy food and ticket to take me back to the south where i worked. I will never forget that time...I felt God and held on..........have you ever felt god's presence in some unnatural way as this?
