This movie is about "an American truck driver working as a contractor in Iraq, who wakes up in the dark, bruised, tied, gagged and trapped in a wooden coffin. With his cigarette lighter, the darkness is slightly broken, With a working cell phone, the maddening isolation is somewhat eased. But some phone calls are gilled with threats and some are devoid of any promise of finding him. As time drags on and desert sand leaks into the coffin, he does agonizing things, which he hopes bring him freedom", this was the plot from the movie cover. I watched this movie few moments ago. I decided not to finish it. From the start they were stuck on one scene. I mean I am not against to that. The script is fair but there was just so few activities with this film. It was boring me. It seems that most films these days are like this. I just hope that given their similarities, they will have something distinct about their work.

I bought it recently. I thought it was good although it's not one I would probably watch again. It must have been a pretty low budget film since there was no need for various sets or locations, extensive wardrobe, or a lot of fancy special effects. It was a pretty clever way of telling a story. I mean I've never seen a movie(that I recall) in which there is only one set(the coffin). And you never see the outside. It certainly wasn't boring to me. The suspense was pretty heavy at times. But, the ending was hard to watch, in a way and it was almost enough to make me claustraphobic. It's certainly worth seeing, at least once.

You may be right but I think that I have had enough with this kind of movies. There are just so many movies out there now that make me feel disappointed.

I thought that this movie was brilliant. There was only one scene and part of the time it's in total darkness. But if you use your imagination, you can feel the action outside of the coffin and this is what the director wants the audience to perceive. Suggested action. This technique has not been used for a long time. Movie audience now wants to see the graphic but what is unseen is probably even more frightening. Imagine yourself in Ryan Reynold's place, buried underneath tons of sand. What would you do? Would you trust your government to get you out of your predicament? This movie requires the audience to use their imagination and not to just watch mindlessly.
