When I was 20 years old I let out my cottage, got a working holiday visa and bought an airline ticket around the world. I spent around £1000 for my flights and my route was London-Los Angeles-Hawaii-Fiji-Sydney-Adelaide overland Cairns-Darwin-Singapore-London. I also visited Sumatra and Malaysia. When I was in my mid twenties I traveled to Kenya and went on a safari. I went to Hong Kong, Western Australia and Singapore when I was 28 years old. I did another long trip when I was 29 years old. This was to California, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, New Zealand and Samoa. In my mid thirties I went to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. The year before last I went to Cape Town, last year I went to Vancouver and this year I went to Cartagena in Colombia. So you can see that seeing the world takes a lifetime and only a limited amount of places can be seen on one trip.

I wanted to do the same thing too. But I think that before doing that, I should first do it in my own country. I am from the Philippines and we have over 7000 islands. I think that it would be nice to be familiar with ones culture before exploring the cultures of the world.
They say that you will know the world more if you meet and experiences the differences within it. I am hoping that this dream will be a reality in the future.
