I do browse through different kinds of websites. One of my primary interest in do so is to search for information related to my business. I am working for a company in the international trading sector, and I have to do a lot of market research work. So, information related to trading, import/export, is very much of interest to me.

First it would be the aesthetics. I would be turned off by how unorganized or cheapy it looks.. but that is just me who values art, maybe other people are different. But of course, it would depend if I even have interest in the subject... what is the website for?

well usually people who are searching are searching for information, or photos, depending what type of webpage it is....I believe a nice clear simple and attractive in an art way is the most interesting type of webpage...I made a webpage as a tribute to an artist who passed away in 2002 and I had never done a webpage before but because of the information and interest in it the national Library of Australia requested to archive it for all time, so I guess it really can be the interest content that really matters...

The website should give some usefull information or it should be entertaining. Also the layout should be a little attractive so that visiting people will like your site. First impression is the best impression right??
