Before I was like other teenagers always looking for the newest astrology reading and thinking that whatever it says is true.
But when I started working and already knows what's the "real" thing going on in life, that people were given by God free will to do what's right and what's wrong, I didn't tend to believe in them anymore, rather think of them as positive advice.
How about you guys? Do you believe in Astrology readings or just think of them as positive advice for your everyday life?

I used to believe in those readings as well when i was in my teens to late teens. I believed in them because i happened to read some of the predictions which came true, and i got addicted to it. Though wrong predictions are higher than right ones, i still allow myself to sink deeper into it. It's only when i started working, then i realize those readings are purely concidental and it's a guideline.

Hi frey,
I am a voracious reader and nothing escapes my eyes, yes, even the horoscope pages. I read them just for fun and not for anything else. They are on the comics column, right? That is the only fitting way to deal with it, as entertainment and as a serious guide to our daily life.
If it happens that it relates directly to you, then so be it. No harm done. Our behaviour should not rest on that arbitrary predictions that a thousand other entity may have happened to read at that particular moment.
No one has the same trajectory with anybody else, for if it is the case, then we could do away with the problems of our diversified individuality and uniqueness.

No, i don't believe in astrology at all. we can't depend on a sign to dictate our lives. there is no basis for it. i also don't believe in your birth sign dictates who you are. there is no evidence to support the truth in it.

I have never actually been a person that put a lot of credibility into astrology. The reason for that is that all of the horoscopes that I've ever seen are basically just generic in my opinion. What I think is fun to do is to read your horoscope after the fact and see if there is any way that you are able to see it as being somewhat true in your life. I think that the main reason that I don't believe in this is because of parents teachings.

Most, if not all, people who read astrology, typically read it in the morning, which I believe then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy...visualization is a powerful tool. I asked a believer once to start reading the astrology before bed time instead of the morning, see if they then feel the same about astrologies predictions. I don't believe in it...we create our own destiny by the choices we make.

Well i believe that it's a person himself who can set his own future. If you know thyself then you have nothing to fear. You can gain anything and everything. I think i would agree with you when you say that it's just positive advice. No moon or stars or planet can ever predict the future or so. If it were so then we would always be looking at them and not at everything.
It's a good thing that you don't believe in them anymore. I wouldn't also believe in them at all!
Cheers!

i'm also like you who believes in astrology reading..it also started out when i was in highschool. whenever i pull out a newspaper or magazine from our school library the very first page i turn to is astrology..i don't know..i just find it amazing that for most of the time whatever reading i had for that day really happened..up until now, i stil tend to read the astrology & no matter how my fiancee tells me not to believe them, i can't still stop myself from believing it in one way or another..

Hi dear,
In every aspect of life there are positive as well as negative thoughts behind. The people involved in this filed, especially accepted as a profession ever find any bad implications on it. They argue that the process of predictions are prepared scientifically and based on natural facts.
I had a faith in it till some years back and when we independently thin, all such things are just specific and won’t make any difference in our practical life. How we will prove it? Just take a day’s example. As per the astrological predictions, someone suggest or insist or instruct certain things to be done in such and such way for a better and improved life.
Even if we do or DO NOT do, it will happen by its own way. That means, whatever things which relates to astrology we observe or perform, regardless of what we do, things will happen by its own way. It simply says whatever happens in our life is quite natural and not aligned or tuned with our special performances. If we are not well, some medicine can make effect to our body. That is true. But if we do something else instead of medicine, nothing will work out on our body except our mental conditions. All are related to psychology. Some people make advantage of our illiteracy on whatever subjects.
Thank-s

Well, i don't believe on astrology readings too. But i do find it nice to hear those things about my zodiac sign, Saguitarrius because they really are true to my personality though.
However, with the new additional sign Opiuchius and it's my sign now, i kind of get disappointed with it already. Though, those readings are exciting to hear.
