Becoming a voice actor

I'd been thinking I would like to become a voice actor. I've had many compliments on the way I speak as well as the voices I 'put on'. So I don't thinks its an unrealistic dream. But how would one go about getting a job as a voice actor? Nothing big, just voiceovers (though I'd love to be a voice for a cartoon character, or for a movie) Anyone currently a voice actor? Or wanted to be one?
