Well..
I am doing research as we get called by government and the institutions where ever we go to. We get funded by govt and get good bucks to doing all which we are doing.
But I am never satisfied by the quality and the quantity of work which we are producing here. As this is the system and even I can't change a bit if I wish too..
I remember one of my junior describing job satisfaction a long time ago..he saif - Even if a call centre employee will get nice bucks for doing job, he will never get frustration from his job."
But I dont believe, as doing nothing is very tough job to cope with...and I think I am doing the same for some time...
I have tried to change many things from my level, but it seem meaningless as result always comes oposite and always I feared for my reputation to get ruined...
Some times I think very negatively all about it and think , I am just a useless person trying to be useless ...
Thanks...

I don't think that you should ever feel like you are useless if you are performing your job to the best of your ability. I mean there are some times that we all get discouraged with the work that we are doing in our different jobs. However, the job that you are doing is important to your employer and they are paying you for your work so there is really no way that you could consider your job to be something that is useless.

well, if you do your best to achieve that job, you shouldn't feel shame about it. I won't at least. Because I really do my best at this point, and I won't regret or shame on myself. Even I fail.

I can understand what you are trying to convey. I happen to be an engineering student at a government college, and as it goes for all government firms(not all, but most of them), the system is slow and dormant at times. Teachers aren't at par, research work is almost absent and the laid-back attitude is omni-present. :)
It is tough to change things anywhere, especially if you are a part of government firms, since they are massive bodies.
Job satisfaction is a subjective topic. For your junior friend, it might be what he explained. For me, it is doing one's best wherever he/she is, and always doing the right thing. The satisfaction of knowing, firstly, that you have put in 100% of yourself in the day's work, and secondly, you have not done anything wrong combine to infuse in a person what we call job satisfaction.
In your case, I wont deny that its tough doing what you do since your place of work isn't as you would like it to be. But I'd advice you to try n keep doing the good work that I'm sure you do. Side by side, there is no harm looking for other job opportunities as well, preferably private firms, since they are usually more systematic and efficient that public firms.
If you continue doing work to the best of your abilities and leave no stone unturned, then you will learn a lot and getting hired by the best research firms in your field will be no trouble at all.
Have faith in yourself, and in god. :)
