i know that dogs are man's bestfriends, but i prefer having a cat than a pet dog. i also know, and everyone else here in myLot, that cats have a very sturdy immune system that could fight lots of bad things happening to them, like when they eat something not healthy, or get some wounds from a cat fight, which made people believe these animals have 9 lives. i've recently been educated of the lots of foods that dogs should not be eating, particularly grapes and chocolates, but what is there that is not for cats?
hope to get some advices from cat lovers out there. this would be very beneficial to me and my "other" bestfriend. =)

Cats are nice pets as far more benign than the dog. I'm also pleased with the cat but I'm not happy to be my pet. I'm most worried about the virus from cat fur

i find keeping cats as pets better than dogs because they are very sweet and charming, and they don't make a lot of noise whenever some people pass by your house. virus from cat fur? i don't think i've ever heard of such a thing before, but as far as i'm concerned, this is my 3rd cat and so far we've not encountered or have suffered that virus you're talking about my friend. if that's true, then i just hope it doesn't get us into any problems. thanks for the info by the way. although i'm still to research about that particular virus.

Hi jstrinjimenez (42),have 2 very pretty little furry purring men my self. i don't have a huge list for you,but i can suggest maybe avoiding things like onion. heard its really bad for them somewhere. other then that as far as i know the basic rule is if you think it would make you sick (ie bad, stale food) don't give it to your pet. be it a dog or a cat :)

yeah, we only give our cats those foods that we eat and nothing else. i know that onions are bad for dogs but never knew they are bad for cats also. so far, i havent seen my cat look sick, although i think he's gotten a little thin..

I too love to touch the cats, because the cats are looking like tigers.
My sister likes these pets so much.
Ten years back, in my home there was a good cat in my home. One day it was effected by snake. It was so sad news. And we were supplied so healthy nutrition food for that. Daily milk also.
