I think you use more of a rubric to "grade" instead of a simple right or wrong answer. I used to do group work in my classroom and it was based more on the project than a simple answer.

yes, you are right. I need to change the traditional assessment method. Rubic is very useful for judging a project.

I don't know what subject you teach but I found rubrics and group work lots easier to grade. I also used my own method in math. Their work was worth 3 points and the right answer was worth one. I only had to glance at a problem. Each one got 4 points. That way they got credit for showing their work and for the answer - but the work was worth more.
