People are talking about the fact, that you should not buy real fur, because animals rare suffering out of this reason. I agree!!!! But wht about the fur on or the leather from animals we eat? Like cows, goats, sheep, rabbits and such?

if it was not for the fur industry these animals would never have been born mink are raised strictly for there fur no different then cows are raised for there meat saying you shouldn't wear fur but eating meat is ok its kinds silly you see activists breaking into mink farms and letting out all the mink all the time and then what happens the farms go around and pick them all back up (excluding teh ones the get hit on the road or eaten by predators) because they have no idea how to survive in the wild that has been bread out of them for generations upone generations the same as letting a cow out and expecting it to survive (my yorkie would stand a better chance) I have a mink farm near my house that had a mink escape once it took my all of 2min to cetch it as it tried to run into the grocery store to see the people how long do you think this animal would survive around coyotes? with out the fur industry this aniamls never would have been born in the first place

I hope that they use the fur very productively after they process the animals for meat to eat.

Those who think you shouldn't wear fur also think you shouldn't eat meat!!! I do love my meat; however, if I had to kill it & dress it out to eat it, I'd be a vegetarian!!!! The problem with wearing fur it that it does NOT come from the animals that we eat. Most women who wear fur only want to wear the finest mink (or whatever). Then it is killed simply for the fur!!! Some third world countries torture the animals until they die even going as far as to skin them alive. I don't think it is worth that just for me to look pretty!!!!
