A new portion to flood the market is Triple X. Youngsters desperately want this during examsto keep them awake and even after exam time tobe perky. Triple X contains taurine and what youngsters don’t realise is it is already present in the body. If adequate doses are taken it may damage the tissues. If more than six grams is taken into the body it produces irreparable damage to the nervous system. So youngsters be aware of it and take it in case of necessity. Do you think I am right?

I would really like to see some sources on these numbers because 4 grams is a pretty small amount.

No, it isn't really that small. Contents of these drinks are usually listed in mg, not grams. Since 1 gram = 1000 milligrams, 4 grams isn't that small.

I take that back. After looking at their nutritional content data, I have to say, that really is a small amount. "Taurine 400mg/100ml"... That's one gram in a 250ml can. =x

Whew another stuff to be wary of. So many products are now out in the market that promises better learning and understanding and students are at the risk of believing cause of the too school works plus the demands of their peer groups. Parents should be on the look out for this new threat to our youngsters.

How scary. I don't like these chemicalized drinks that make teens 'work harder'. I think it's really unhealthy and it's unfortunate that they're put in these pressures to work their butt off.

http://www.triplexenergydrink.com/main.htm This thing? It... wow, it does contain a lot of taurine. That's somewhat impressive. Is it really that popular though? I've always felt that energy drinks tasted awful. I'd rather drink ten cans of coffee than touch one of those atrocities.

How can we be sure of what our children are really learning when they are under the influence of something to get them through an exam? It is sad and tragic and it happens too much.
