I never expect the gas price is soaring this fast

Today I drove by the gas station, I was amazed to see the price of $3.15 per gallon on unlead gas. Gosh, is that serious? This morning it was only $3.05, and now it jumps up $0.10 more on it? I just afraid the price will be upper and upper again. Please, don't go up to $4.00 like 2 years ago, which was horrible. I can't even want to drive long distance, or go out anywhere. Should the government do something about it?

I have noticed for the past few weeks it is slowly rising. Funny there is so much in reserve, yet we are paying higher prices for gas. I do believe it is the oil companies raising the prices for no real reason except to benefit their pockets.

Gas prices are outrageous. Sadly I don't ever see them going down much. I heard that they could reach $5 over the next year. Sadly it wouldn't surprise me. I'm in New York state and our current gas prices are $3.40. I'm not even in the city! It's crazy. Eventually there will come a time when noone can afford to fill their car with gas.

I guess that is why the government strongly encourage everyone to switch to those fuel - efficient car, or hybrid or whatever use less gasoline type of car. You know what, I am driving like 20 miles to work one way, and back and forth like 40 miles. What do you think?

Hiya KP, Seems like this is going to be here for a very long time this up and down of Petrol Prices. We have this too. One Day we went to get some Petrol and it had jumped 20 cents just like that. I think though the thing is that no one is saying anything about it. Just as if they expect it to go up and up which I think may very well happen although it has happened before I know. But then it came down but will it come down this time? Hard to say I suppose.

Gas prices are getting ridiculous again. I remember when it was almost $5.00 per gallon. It is almost like you just can't drive or go anywhere when it is that much because it would be way too expensive. Right now at my nearest gas station the gas price is $3.39 per gallon. Its getting up there.

The gas price is really giving us a headache. To save gasoline, we make it a point that we travel only one route a day, bringing the children to school and us to the office, then we go home again together. Anyway, if we all commute everyday, the fare is still more expensive than bringing a car.

With the gas prices going higher and higher, I don't drive my car very mcuh any more. I used to drive to work which is about 15 kilometers from my house. I am now taking the public transport to get to work and places in the city to save on the costs. Many of my colleagues are also doing that.

The gas is very expensive here... I would call $3.15 cheap... It is like $3.25 all the time but my car needs the premium fuel so it is at least $3.49 or more most of the time... The gas is probably gonna go up more in the summer...

It does seem to be going up right in front of our eyes huh? And they will continue to use every excuse that they can find to make it keep going up so that they can pad their own pockets. The big dogs should simply cut back - but don't kid yourself the government is still getting plenty of taxes as the prices go up too.

We really shouldn't be surprised with such high gas prices in this economy of ours. Still we are shocked when prices take a dramatic jump. If only it could jump in the opposite direction. That would be something to look forward to.

I don't think it is much of a surprise that gas prices go up so much. The economy cannot get better any time soon, because of the government printing more money all the time. I don't even what to know what things are really like.
