Maybe getting my belly button pierced again would look better

When I got pregnant with my daughter the only place I got stretch marks was right around where I got my belly button pierced. If I hadent gotten my belly button pierced when I was in high school I wouldnt have had stretch marks right there. Everyone I've seen that had a kid after having their belly button pierced has the same looking stretch mark in the same spot. I hate it. I wish I had never had my belly button pierced until after I was done having kids. It was so cute at the time though. My stomach was flat and looked perfect for a belly button ring. I was thinking if I got my belly button pierced again it might cover up a little bit of the stretch marks and just make my stomach look cuter. I dont waste money on things for myself so this is just sort of thinking rather then actually planning to go and get it done.

How about a little tattoo instead? Me.. I don't care about my tummy. It's big and gross and never looked right after the kids were born. I am one of the unlucky people who's skin never snaps back into place, so I have flabby skin all over the tummy. Just gross. Never dreamed of getting my belly button pierced, and would never dream of letting anyone else see my belly either.. but that's just me.

I really dont like tattoos. I like the one I have but hate the other. I really wish I just hadent gotten any tattoos at all. You had twins that would stretch your stomach out a lot I dont see anyone who had twins as being able to have a perfect stomach after that. I never had twins. I didnt get that big with my pregnancies but still the few stretch marks I have really bother me.

You don't like tattoos but you're okay with piercings.. okay you're weird! LOL J/K I also have a tattoo I regret. But of the 3, I still only regret the one.. the other 2 I just love! I've been thinking of covering up the one I don't like, with a new tattoo or something. Unfortunately I'd have to get a bigger tattoo to cover up the one I have (it's uneven so I can't just make it the same size.. I'd need bigger to make it look even) and I haven't decided what tattoo I want to cover it up with. Plus there's the financial aspect, you know. All in all, it's your body. If you want to repierce your belly button.. go for it! Otherwise, stick with one piece bathing suits and no half shirts, LOL.

Getting your belly button pierced is not too expensive, and since you hardly ever spend money on yourself, it might be a nice thing to do :-) If it will make you feel good about yourself and you have the extra cash to get it done, I say go for it :-) I have not been on MyLot in a while but I am really planning on trying to post more often. I find your posts interesting, thanks!

I think its around $30 for the belly button piercing plus then you have to buy the jewerly as well. Thats not that bad but still for me thats kind of a lot to spend on myself. I dont really have money to spare. I need to save up as much as I can because my van is going to die anytime and I will need to get another vehicle. Thats more important then my belly button. I need a rich boyfriend to buy me things hehe.
