Why can't I sleep?

I don't understand, no matter what I do I can't sleep lately. For the past 3 weeks I have been having insomnia issues. I have slept on my bed with covers, without covers, with the fan on, I slept on it sideways, I slept on it backwards, I watched a movie in bed, I slept on the floor, I made a fort of pillows, I slept downstairs on the stinky couch, I slept on the carpet, I slept on the tile, one night I even went and slept on the grass outside. I can't sleep. If anyone has any suggestions on what I could to help me sleep I would be grateful. But no I am not going to see a doctor because the doctors around here are insane.

two suggestions...one is a supplement that yoiu can get over the counter called Melatonin. It is an all natural sleep aid that is the same as the chemical our bodies produce naturally. You don't feel like a ton of bricks hit ya when it kicks in and you actually feel rested when you wake up.
The other is breather right strips. I began using them when I got a freebie sample box...well when I use it at night (with or without the melatonin) I noticed how it cuts down the time it takes me to relax enough to get to sleep. I never knew I had a problem breathing, but it works. Plus the great thing about the nsasl strips...non medicated. Simple to use and safe for everyone in the house to be around.
Good luck to ya

Since I am more of a natural person I think I will try those nasal strips, I honestly haven't thought of them. If they don't work I might end up having to try some supplements as everyone is telling me that is what I have to do. I would try the over the counter ones before prescription though.

If you can't sleep then look up insomnia, I'm sure it has to have some sort of remedy for curing it.
If it doesn't then you're going to have to go see a doctor because lack of sleep may have you end up in a coma.

You should try taking sleeping pills if you want to sleep comfortably.I think that's another way to get to sleep.

i have the same problem, i have tried sleeping tablets, exercising like mad to tire myself out but nothing seems to work, now what i have been doing is watching alot of telly, reading and multitasking at the same time which by around 3/4 am i have been able to go to sleep, but if it does get worse try sleeping tablets if they dont help then you should think about going to your doctors (: x
