honestly, I am not very confident if Gd will let me enter His Kingdom in HEaven. I am not a really bad person, but there are some things I have done that I am not proud of. I help others but I don't really reach out to them all the time. In the end, it's up to God if He'll let me enter- He did see my entire life.

are you aware that God said you can know for sure that you have eternal life and that you can go to be with Him in Heaven.

Great question Leon! I guess I would first apologize, and ask him to forgive me for my sins. Hopefully, he'd do that. Then I'd go straight into explaining why I did some of the wrong that I've done. After that (actually before then) I'd be at His mercy...

Hmm.. That would be good Hastyle. But don't you think you do that now that you're still alive? Once you face God, you cannot do anything for His mercy. It's because you have all the time in the world, and yet you did not do what you're supposed to do.

Florencia sure I think that now that I'm alive. But I also know I'm not perfect. Far from it in fact. Noone is to tell the truth. So there is not one man/woman alive today that will face God having done everything they were supposed to do. So you're supposed to ask for forgiveness and mercy at all times. Even when you are being judged by Him. That's actually your last chance to ask, so you better. Even Shaitan (Satan) wants to be forgiven for his sins.

You are right Hastyle. No one is perfect. It is actually written in the Bible. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;". But the Bible also says in 1 John 1:9 that "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." And your only way to heaven is to accept God as your Lord and Savior because God says in John 14:6, "I am the way the truth and the light, no one can come to the Father but by me."

i think God will not ask us with that kind of questions that's why the question is a conditional "what if?" i'm just supposing what if God will ask us. God is omnipotent and we cannot fathom His ways for His ways are always higher than our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts and we can put our faith in Him because He is in control.

I am an agnostic but just for the sake of conversation, I cannot imagine a God that will say those words. Heaven is for everyone or for noone. It is the only way I can logically picture a God. I know we human beings are full of prejudice and lack of respect for people who are not like us. But I want God to be more generous than what I am.

I hope God is love and generosity. I can´t think of a God being otherwise. If so, confession or asking for forgiveness is not necessary. I´m no God and I forgive my daughters´ flaws and hope they forget mine for the sake of love.
But I don´t know. I cannot imagine anyone actually talking to God as if God was a sort of human being.

You are right. God is generous. But God is also JUSTICE, RIGHTEOUS, and LOVE. He has given His own son to redeem of our sins, and what He only wants us to do is to confess our sins, ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. That's just it and you'll get to heaven. :)

marguicha, yes God is generous, not only generous but He is soooo good to us and his love for us is unconditional. He loves us and doesn't want to punish us, He says "I have loved you with an everlasting love." Jer. 31:3b But the same Bible that tells us God loves us, also tells us that God is just on the other hand and so He must punish sin. He "....does leave the guilty unpunished" EXodus 34:7b. therefore we have a problem, God loves us and doesn't want to punish us But He is just and must punish sin.

I believe that God will accept me, but he would really take a real hard look at me first. Oooops, it's not what you're thinking. I never had a face lift, butox, lyposuction or all those surgical vanity. I don't even pluck my eyebrows! The thing is, I am fighter and I fight so many ills, loud and in full blast! I am no gentle person and so many people feel offended when I clarify the truths on their faces. Gosh, I really hope I am kinder.... But after deliberation, the angels might put in a good word for me...

you got it. because He is now become our personal Lord and Savior, He is now in charge of our life. we are going to live our life pleasing and acceptable to Him. and our trust is completely to Him on what he did on the cross.

Hi leon,
I hope i dont die in a car accident but if it is very severe which might require doctors to cut off my limbs or make me paralyse then i wish i would rather die. Now if the God block my way to gate of heaven and ask me why should he let me enter in it? i would simply reply, I am sorry sir, i wasnt looking forward to enter your space where all i have to do is to praise you, but i stopped here to ask for directions to hell.

This question cant be answered when your still alive. There still alot of things to do. There is still alot of chances to be holy as expects us to be. I am striving hard to be holy. but I always stumble., I am indeed just a human being. i commit lots of shortcomings, trespasses.
The question will be answer after "The days" is over.

GOD knows my heart so well more than I do. He gave me HIS command and yet it makes me hard to follow, I always make a complain... "How? Were? Why?". But there's one thing that GOD made me to see so clearly; "I am saved by HIM". In the beginning of the world, GOD made human as a perfect creation. We become corrupted because we chose sin instead of being with GOD. And then he came to earth to save as to the element that make us to be corrupted. He chose to be with us to tell us the truth about life and what's waiting for us if we chose HIM and believe HIM. GOD saved me and this is what he tells me in my heart. Nothing in our ways that can make as to enter the Kingdom in Heaven but only by the Grace of GOD. So if GOD ask me that question, I will say... Thank you for building your Kingdom in my heart. You know that I always sin and made many mistakes in my life, yet you came to forgive me and tell me that you love me and I am yours only. The Glory is only Your's... =)
