I get up at 4:30 am every morning (I don't own an alarm clock). That is my quiet time. It is so peaceful. I can best during this time prepare myself for the challenges of the day.

My first comment is usually something like "Good Morning, God. What are we going to do today? I'm ready to get started whenever you are." Then I spend some time in peaceful meditation on His Glory and Love. Then I start looking forward to what the day will bring. Makes for some banner days! Even the less-than-banner ones are GREAT!

I work third shift so I don't get up in the morning, I get up at night. I get off of work at 6a.m. and go to bed around 9 a.m. I usually get up at about 6 or 7 p.m. Then I start work again at 10 p.m.
