Your reaction after a proposal from someone you love?

It was one of my fondest memory. Back in college, I got closed with a guy in one of my classes. And everyday as I get to know him, I just woke up one day finding myself falling for him. As each day passes, it aches to think that we'll be going separate ways because we're of different courses. After that semester I am going to take major subjects and so is he. And then one day during one of my badminton practices, he came over and told me that he can't walk me home then he handed me a letter. I was dismayed because that will be a missed moment but eagerly opened what he handed me. I thought it was just the same letters he give me and was not expecting what I'm about to read. The letter was just like shouting his feelings at me. It was very sweet. He wrote all over how much he loves me and wanted to be his girl. I literally fell off the bench where I was sitting, speechless at the revelation I read. I read and re-read everything and tears just felt like welling in my eyes. The next day I can't look him directly. I even hide away from him because I was so afraid of being confronted. But then I know I cannot hide from him forever so I initiated a time where we can talk alone. He was overwhelmed with joy when I told him I felt the same way. Did you feel the same when your love one reciprocates your feeling? How did it showed and how did he or she reacted?
