At the office, i am the most senior among my office mates.
I don't know, if being that or being the executive assistant of my boss, entices them to always ask my opinion in various matters at work. I am happy that those advices turns out to be nice and good to all. Because of that, it motivates me more to work enthusiastically at the office.
How about you friends? is you opinion or advice being sought too? I guess, it pays to be older and experienced.

it is good feeling if co-workers ask your opinion and advice. it means that they see you as that person who they think has things in mind that is better than what they have. they look up to you and respect on what you can say regarding matters they are in. good for you. in my work some newbies think they are greater than the one experienced that sometimes they no longer listen.

I honestly feel good that they really look up to me . But the feeling is nicer, because i was able to help them for the betterment of their jobs.

Maybe you look wisdom-y to them. There are people like that. They look like they know a lot of things that's why people ask for opinions from them.

Well, maybe because my boss relies on me on almost everything, so they do also.

Maybe because i handled different jobs already, i am full of wisdom to them.
They would have their formal communications proof read by me first, before it is finalized. They would let me correct their grammars. They would let me decide on what would be the better thing to do in this kind of problem and that among other things.
Though honestly, I am honored that they look up to me in various things.
