There have been many husbands throughout the ages that have left their wives for a mistress. Once you are wed it is not written in stone that a husband and wife will always be together. we marry with this intention, but it doesn't always stay true. I beleive a husband can leave his wife for his mistress, but that doesn't necessarily mean he leaves his children too. he has blood ties to them that are stronger than any relationship.

Yes, it happens. I too do not understand why a man could have mistresses. Isn't true that the reason why you married a woman is that above all the woman you knew, she is the best? Why have a mistress? This I don't understand about men. I also hate it when they reason out the ratio of man to woman that's why they take on many woman at the same time.
