Our King is holy/sovereign/immutable/eternal/great/good/majestic/merciful. Casual worship is not possible before Him.
We don’t come to Jesus to get stuff (happiness/heaven/health/wealth). We come to get Jesus.
We tend daily to forget the gospel, so be reminded today: God's pleasure in you is not based on your performance for Him.
The cross: a place of predetermined affection (Eph.1:3-7), past substitution (1Pet.2:24), & present execution (Gal.2:20).
6,000 people groups unable to worship Christ this morn b/c they've never heard gospel; may our worship drive us to go to them.
