Finishing strong.

The end of the matter is better than its beginning. It's not how we started but rather its how we ended that should matter. There are times we start doing something with so much enthusiasm and passion but then in the middle starts to lose focus and interest up to the time we stop and not able to finish. It's how we finish the race and not how we started to run. There are those who say they are successful with their current career or business but are they gonna be able to maintain it up to the end? What I mean is that success can only be proven by time. Maybe we can say we are successful now but not tomorrow, but is this true success for us? Who knows maybe after several years we might lose what we have right now and then that will be the time we can say if we have been a success or failure. Of course this depends also on us on how we run the race of our lives. It's now how we started to believe and know but rather how we implement it in our lives and in the end become the best. It takes a lot of endurance though but the result is very fulfilling. That's how to finish strong. Have a nice day everyone!

Some deep thinking here sais, and so true. One can be very successful one day and then flat broke and homeless the next..This is why we should never have so much pride in us that we think it will never end. There are always endings, and though I am starting out on the bottom, I pray that I end on top, without the pride of course...:)

Yes carmela and I just hate those who brags about themselves because they have been doing good at the moment. I guess one thing that matters is the attitude and determines also as to how we're gonna end. There are also times that I start at the bottom but I don't lose hope that in the end I'm gonna be at the top also. Pride is also another thing I guess why we need to start at the bottom so that we'll learn how to be humble and carry that humbleness when we reach the top.

I have seen what pride does to one who is successful. I have a neighbor who had her own business out of her home and did really well, and every spring she'd had some kind of construction going on, whether on her home or her lot. I am sure she spent a fortune on various improvements, yet she was so full of pride, only talked to me when she "needed" something and I know she was one of a group of people who tried to buy our house when we were struggling. (Long story, but we almost lost our home a few years back) But G♥d had other plans and kept us here. I know know exactly when, but about just over a year ago, I noticed no longer did any work vehicles come to her house, and last spring, no remodeling of anything was going on. Then last fall, she told me she was going to another state for a couple weeks for some training and now I see her leaving every morning. Turns out, she lost her business and is now working for someone else. I kind of feel for her, because her home and bills must be pretty high and the upkeep is going to take probably most of her income. But this is what pride does, the higher up you are and the more prideful you are, the harder you fall...

Oh I don't like that to happen to me. The higher we soar then the harder it hurts when we fall, that is true. Usually they think that their wealth will last. Well it will only last if used accordingly but when they have pride they don't know how to listen to others already and their head keeps telling themselves how great they are compared to others. We also have neighbors around here who are like that and now their situation is really unacceptable for them. When we reach the sky, we need also to touch the ground so that we can think and let our wings rest and also to reach those who are below us.

Oh yes that what I'm about to say actually. It's our faith that's keeping from going on. I believe that our faith will be tested by circumstances but as long as we hold on to Him then everything will just be fine. Thanks for dropping by.

Nothing is constant in this world. This is the reason why one should hold it to heart while they're at it. In order to maintain your position, you should be humble enough to listen to everybody because for sure there are people who are better than you are; and don't burn bridges for you'll never know when youre gonna need them. Take for example in my case, i work as an insurance broker. When i feel like leaving my current employer for a higher pay, i would target finding employment in the same field that i am in; and my numero uno target would be to work for an insurance company. If i had been mean to the insurance companies, they can easily block my employment and my dream of going to a higher level would not be achieved. If i were to comment further, i would liken your discussion to the way I write my choral arrangements. At first, I can feel sooooo inspired because the thoughts and the notes were all there flying in my brain. As i go on, i have difficulty in keeping them all together and to ensure that i do not defy any musical theories. It is true when you talk about endurance, i have to go and fight strong until i finish the music. And voila! It has become a work of art and heart.
