I still remember when I moved for the first time. I was young then but I remember the days i had fun in my old house. The neighbors I had in the old house were really good and we were all friends. The new house, not so much. I never knew who lived around me. Anyway the feelings of packing things and seeing the house so empty broke my heart as my childhood memories were there.
How do you feel about moving?? excited?? or sad like i was???

I never moved when I was growing up. I'm glad I stayed in the same place, but sometimes I wished I could move and start all over again, and change who people thought I was...but I am glad i stayed put, because I realized that it doesn't matte what people think of me, as long as I am happy with myself.

Actually i would have loved being in your shoes. I really hated moving :( My friends and my memories were there, after that i never knew who my neighbor was in the new houses.

I am such a stable person and I do not like to move at all.. I owned my home for a long time and unfortunately no longer do. But the day of the move I ended up with such a migraine and light headed symptoms that I suppose subconsciously I made myself sick.
Sick enough to post pone my move for 3 days. So that qualifies me as very sad if I have to move.

I only have moved 3 times in my life. It is not fun and alot of hard work! The first time was when I was in love and moved in with my boyfriend who I had plans to marry. After six months that ended and I had to move out. I was on my own for the 1st time on my own! I lived at that place for 14 and a half years. I then had to move where I currently live. I had to move bcause the the store I lived above was sold. I am a person of habit so I don't plan to move anytime soon! I like where I live!

We always seemed to be moving when i was a child. We never seemed to stay in one place long before my parents wanted to move to a place that was better to live in. It was fun to pack up our belongings and find someplace new to enjoy. The only discouraging thing was leaves my friends behind.

Oh that's really nice that you enjoyed moving. Yeah actually the worst part of moving is living behind friends and memories. Anyway thanks for responding. Have a good day..

It's good to know that you don't feel bad about moving. I haven't moved a lot but the couple of times i moved, i didn't feel so good.

Hi. thatgirl13. I enjoyed moving last year in October. I disliked where I was living at. It was too much of a crowd for me. I felt happy about leaving. We had a new manager and Gosh, she was a big pain in the rear end! I was glad to be moving into something more better!

Everytime I moved it made me sad. We moved alot I think when I was a kid and then after that I have tried not to move. My first home they torn down to widen the street and I never got over that. This house I'm in now I have to moove as lost my job for a while and never got to catch back up after I got my job back. Same story you hear on the news. So am I sad again yes. will I make it yes. It is a new path in life. I'm looking for the silver linning. You have a wonderful day. I'm going to.

Ah it was painful. We're living in our old place for more than 40 years. It is where all of us, my brothers and sisters, were born. But the lot where our house stood was government owned. After many decades of staying there, we were so unfortunate because we were not able to persuade the government to award the land to us, and after several court hearings we lost in the case. Though we fight for our so-called right and the whole community made a demonstration to higher authorities, they remain insensitive to our plea. And so we were displaced and forced to vacate our place. As of this date, we are living in our new place for five years now, yet there is still pain everytime we pass by with our old place.

I just recently moved myself. I normally feel a mixture of different emotions. I am sad since I will be leaving the place where I made memories (but never will I forget the memories I made in the place), excited since its like a new start. And nervous. You never really know what you are getting yourself into when you move so it can be nerve wracking while in the process, but it never ends up being as bad as you think it could be :)

We have moved a lot of times. Seven times if I'm not mistaken. Well, the feeling when we first moved was mixed emotions for you will leave your playmates and you might not be seeing them anymore when you grow old. But that's part of life. I'm used to it now though we will not moving anymore.

Yes actually the things you have said are absolutely true. I haven't met my old friends since i moved. I don't think I'll recognize them anymore.

Moving is always an exciting even. However, the action itself can be quite tiresome. Especially if you don't have enough helpers. lol

OMg i remember the time i moved. I was so tired and the moving thing was really annoying. I wouldn't want to move from the place i'm living right now.
