Some Movies that have impressed me in a special way would be:
"The Fountain" to the idea of life and death, of immortality.
"The Libertine" for perspective on life. The character says at one point, he was a writer of plays, real life has no meaning, either do something or the other does not matter has no meaning for him as only consisting of just theater scene every word, every action has a meaning and causes a reaction with a certain sense. Makes you think the lifestyle you lead and how to find the end, the irony of fate.
"Requiem for a Dream, " though I do not like movies that try to brainwash you, although I do with a humanitarian purpose. I liked the old lady scenes.
"Equilibrium" makes you appreciate art more.
Which movies have impressed you in a special way?And why?

The Movie which impressed me is 3d animated "Horton Hear's A Whoo". I got a moral lesson from this movie that anyone in this world has its own reputation. Anything whether it is tiny but it has its own reputation and anything whether it is small or very big has the right to live.

I'm a fan of animated movies, and of course "Horton Hear's A Whoo" is one of the best animated movies I've seen over the past five years. From a little idea how a particle of dust, but so original, this design came out very nice. In addition, Jim Carrey's voice beautifully complements this design ....Thanks.

Animated movie's are my favorite too. I usually watch with kids so they have always made us happy and they never fail to bring smile on your face. My all time favorite is Ratatouille... I like the inspiration and the concept of any one cook.. it has inspired to become a better cook..

The movie that has impressed me most was "Titanic". For me, the movie has captured everything. I was thrilled with the sequence of events especially when the ship was about to sink. I also felt the love between the two agonists, Jack and Rose. Until now, I still cannot forget the romance between the two despite the mishaps they faced in the ship.

I have to say that the movie "Battle in Seattle" impressed me. It is the story of the protests in Seattle against WTO and it just shows how we can stand up to the people who are in power. "Hotel Rwanda" is another movie that just shows how a few people can overcome the odds in the face of so many problems.

I admit that the only Indian movie that I've seen is Yaadon Ki Baaraat the days of communist period, that such of movies were only allowed in our country at that time. Although not a nostalgic of the communist period, can not forget the cinema full of people from all walks of life and all ages, who watched "Yaadon Ki Baaraat. And after 25 years, I can say that I had the same emotions when I saw the actors, when I heard the music of this movie.A good movie, a lesson of life, elegance and superb music! Thanks.

The movie which impressed me the most in the prevoius yeras is 'City Of God' or 'Ciudad de Deus',a Brazilian movie which tells the story of some characters who live in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. It's a story full of sadness and violence, but hope never leaves the characters as they struggle toget out of there and have a better life, and I was impressed mainly by the main characters' strength and belief that nothing is lost even in the harshest conditions. It resembles 'Slumdog Millionaire' in some aspects and I don't think you can watch such a great movie without being touched.

I saw him last year. Indeed, it is a hard movie, realistic, based on the harsh reality of those places and years, with amateur cast, but without having the slightest hint of amateurism. It was shocking for me to see that young people 5-10 years, using weapons and even kill in cold blood. The downright terrible, like a man's life does not mean anything.Thanks.

Donnie Darko has affected me the most, it remains to be my favorite movie to this day. I just have this special connection that I can't describe with it. It just took me over and I felt a spiritual relationship with it. Everything from every word, action, the music, everything just fit and lives in me.

Hello Didi,
Movie that has impressed me the most is Will Smith's "Pursuit of Happiness". Why because when you see the movie and get to see some your friends of relatives who struggle like the way he does in real life it makes me feel that god has given me enough and I should know how to be content.
I learnt not give up on your dreams, not to run away my responsibilities, efforts is the only way to succeed, try to enjoy little things even during tough times etc... I can list a lot but these are the top...

I remember watching a movie after the Oprah show, a movie by a real case, was invited the true protagonist, Chris Gardner. Indeed an exciting movie, about what hardships of life that make us think that it can be worse, make us fight for what we want, to persevere, a movie that once again reminds them that the poor is much more difficult to succeed in life, they strive more, and therefore it should be appreciated more precisely. And last but not least, a lesson on how to be a dad! Thanks.
