i think it was not a good choice considering the nokia style till now...the windows mobile os normally are really close and so considering android os is based on linux and you can even find free appls may be it won't a good choice for nokia and its future...

me too think that... but if nokia provides free and huge no. of good softwares like android than it may be a better deal to compete with android... to compete android nokia had to something so nokia did this deal...

Well Nokia was using symbian since long time.. Even i enjoyed it.. But yes its really time to change the system. Windows will be good option for them..
Currently Android mobiles are becoming lot more famous. So nokia have to do something to stay in competition. and This is the good step for it.

I am glad that finally Nokia gives in and tried to use Windows system. If they had changed it a few years, then Nokia would be in my buying-list since Nokia is a good quality cellphone. However, it always insists in its Symbian system, and therefore I have to give it up. I like Windows mobile and currently I just have one.
I love China

I think that this has good and bad news. Because it runs windows, it will make the phones more susceptible to viruses, as they will be sharing the same platform as pcs. However, i think its great if it means that one day i might be able to write up work or whatever on my mobile whilst walking or something like that.
HOWEVER!
I have noticed recently that all this flashy smart phones are pretty terrible at the one thing they should be good at, mainly making phone calls and receiving text. THey are jsut over priced, over complicated, and too fidley i find to use. I mean, iphone good for texts? Forget it. Blackberry is ok, but then, its too bulky. I think mobiles are more becoming pocket computers than phones, and this worries my slightly

hmmm you are saying right...
i too think the same..
mobile technology has many drawback and so many of benefits..
but the main thing is to worry about our health..mobiles signals makes our mind and heart weak...something should be done at this metter..because health is wealth..

I had windows on one of my phones...liked it a lot until it broke haha. Android has pretty good market share though. You can't go anywhere without hearing that annoying "droid" sound on a phone haha.
