I have been getting this fake email a lot lately. It is advertising a money making program. I just say "yeah right" because I do not get that big of payments at paypal. My husband forwarded the email to their fraud department because it is being sent by a spammer not even a legitimate company and they expect you to sign up for their program. I don't think so. I will not trust such a site with my paypal information. I just wanted to give others the heads up on this spoof email that is circulating. Do not give out your paypal information to this company. It will allow your account to be compromised.

After posting this I got another one. This time it was for 7816.43. I can't block these emails because they keep coming from different email addresses.

Oh, this kind of spam/junk e-mail is nothing new. It comes in different size, shape, variation. The thing is: No matter how much it is being distributed or sent, no matter how much it is being altered or manipulated, there has been so many that it could not fool many anymore. It is just a junk that has been thrown to so many.

You are right theses are phishing mails do not fall in the trap.
You can report these mails by forwarding them to spoof@paypal.com and paypal will take care of them. Never reply to these mails otherwise you will receive lot's of mails like these in future.

I don't know that i could trust this email unless i was expecting this amount to come to me. This sounds too good so it probably would be. It sounds like a scam about to happen. Take care!

Thank you for the warning, even though I probably would not have believed it. I never can understand how people can get past their conscience and rip people off of their hard-earned money and hurt them. These people are low-lives.

It is important that we look out for each other this way. Letting each other know about scams. It is also great that you have sent it to PayPal to follow up.

Wow, they will certainly pull all forces and tactics to lure people in. Last summer I received a $2,800.00 check from Chase bank. I use Chase and it certainly looked so real.
Well knowing very well that I would not receive free money, I took it over to Chase and handed it over to their fraud department, which of course confirmed it was fake.
It was so real looking with the company logo. Big eye opener for me was go shopping and complete the below form, then cashed the check in your Chase bank then keep $350 for the customer service rating then return us the balance.
HA! Yeah, right like first off, chase is going to send me to do a customer service review of their own employees without me asking, secondly pay me $350 and I am suppose return the rest.
Now who falls for this, I suppose someone really needy and the check did look so authentic. Luckily my brain synced right away.
Gee what will they think of next. PayPal.. how interesting, as you both my thinking is why would PayPal give me free money. Thanks for the Heads up as you just never know when we are so fooled by this form of gimmick.
